Spherical Pizza is my dream, but Gulf South Equipment Sales, LLC pays the bills. They are another "hidden" Baton Rouge gem, worthy of a future Red Stick Sauce story that may be upcoming. I'm blessed to have worked for the Carpenter family since 2013, and I'm proud of the work I'm doing for GSES.

I originally planned to have 4 main blog categories: The Big Game, Red Stick Sauce, Hit the Jukebox, and Making Dough. About a week into this project I decided that three categories would be more than enough to write about, so I dropped "The Big Game," a category dedicated to sports cards and memorabilia group breaks.

If you've visited my page www.sphericalpizza.com this morning, you'll notice I changed my mind. There's just way too much content, and too many friends in this hobby that I want to brag on, starting with Tim Simpson.

Tim runs Bogey Breaks Sports Cards and More on fb, and I've been a member for a little over a year. In that short time, I've made no secret of my LSU Fandom, and Terrace Marshall Jr. was one of the rookies I was chasing in 2021 product breaks.

Yesterday, I heard a soft thud outside my apt door, and this was inside! I'll be featuring Tim and other friends in the hobby soon. I just wanted to thank him publicly.

TMJ will sit on my "desk" and oversee "The Big Game" post quality control.

I'm pretty excited. I got my logo back from the designer. It's not everything I wanted, but if there's one thing I've realized in this process it's that I need to shoot for the stars but be happy where I end up a little short, FOR NOW. A month ago all I had was a domain name, a sketch, and a vision. Now, I've got 6 pages, 4 posts and more coming.

I hoped to have about 15 articles posted, and my site approved to serve ads by this time, but life, work, and a sinus infection got in the way. Again, I aimed high and missed, but I tried. This isn't a make or break investment for me, and making sure I take care of my kids, my health, and my paying job takes precedent.

Even after falling short of my initial goal, I'm optimistic that I will make great progress toward my ultimate goal of monetizing my site.

I've finally got my Hosting Service, Domain Security, SSL, Anti-Spam, Pro Theme, and Plug-ins Installed. Next Step: Site Structure (Yay.)! I Like to Compare Creating a Website to Building a New House. I've Laid a Solid Foundation, and it's Time to Put up the "Frame." Pro Tip: DON'T Start Decorating Until the Walls are Up! MAKE SURE Your Floorplan Includes Enough (But Not Too Many) Doors and Windows, So Your Visitors Can See Inside JUST Enough to Enter, and Navigate the Floor Plan Easily!
