14.08.2023 - Reflecting about Instagram life.

I’ve been wondering about what my purpose is for using Instagram. Why am I here and what goals do I have are just snippet of questions going through my mind.
。
What kind of content should I post, what content do I want to create and share, what kind of content is going to get me recognition, what kind of posts do I want come back to and re-read, should I post for my personal liking or for conformity and brevity.
。
With the weight those answers carry, I choose to use Instagram as a self-reflective, time capsule, journal with pictures. I’m painfully human. And i’m not certain that being that, is likeable.
。
When I come back to my posts, comments, and shares in the future, my intent should bring a smile to my face. Finding that internal joy and preserving it.
。
Happiness, joy, and freedom are beautiful experiences to have. Not everyone gets to have them.

I’ve come across a few online inspirational videos that i’ve connected with. I keep them in mind as I go about my day or when at the gym. Maybe these inspire you like they have me.

“Be the kind of person that when you enter a room people smile.”

“Humans are the only living thing that choose to stop growing.”
。
I recently started dedicating more time to drawing and creating rough drafts for future projects. It’s been fun and allowed me to create without the pressures of finality.
。
These photos are a collection of moments that stopped and took a breath. Being present in the moment and enjoying it.

December 14, 2022 - Life
I found some photos that I thought were lost and to my delight they were found! These are few of my favorites.
I wish I could go back, find the people in these photos and tell them how thankful I am for these memories. Living through COVID-19, the pandemic, the lockdowns, the beta variant, monkey pox and the tripledemic has taught me is this: express gratitude more for things.
People will tell you life is about choices and how you respond to the consequences of the choices; each of these photos represent a choice I made in my life. Some of these have heavy sadness attached to them.
Some times you can get so caught up in the spin of life that you may lose sight of what matters to you. Photos like these, for me, help ground and remind myself of what I was thinking.
