What an unforgettable night! 🎉 Free food vendors, epic beats by , and a unique fusion of graffiti and mural art brought abandoned storefronts to life. Typically, graffiti and muralists don’t mix, but this event created a one-of-a-kind collaboration that showcased incredible talent and creativity. Locals and newcomers mingled, creating a buzzing atmosphere that highlighted Baltimore’s vibrant future. Big thanks to for shining a light on our city’s true potential. Carpet Co. is a skate team and merch brand, but this isn’t your ordinary skate brand I assure you • Hailing from Huntsville, Alabama from Egyptian emigrants we’re they were born and raised, around the age of 9/10 moved to Laurel, Maryland w/ parents which led to hanging out in Laurel, Baltimore & D.C. for the skate spots • They started the brand the classical route in the basement of their friend, Evan’s Grandmothers then to their parents basement originally used for storage • They would place their gear in shops like in D.C. and skated for the late 🪦 Bureau Skate Shop• The name “Carpet” came from their Mom’s Moroccan Shampoo bottle tagline lol “make your hair smooth like carpet” • They moved out their parents spot and fully emerged themselves in Baltimore 2018 were they strengthened their brand imagery and set up a place to grow from • Before quitting their job recently , graduated as a electrical engineer worked as a electrician for and .tv graduated in information systems and worked at as a Network Specialist , all that while finding time to skateboard, filming & editing, making skate trips and orchestrating the merch from ordering blanks, screen printing, product photography, website, packaging and shipping; over the years friends help with process alleviating some the headache which they paid them in Village Kabob(RIP) food currency • They have been skating for 15 years at least featuring in , as well doing a collab shoe btw for season 11 aka swoosh while filming a skate trip in Dubai for the promo • They also had Screenprinting Workshop @ in Feb 2018 •
