This week, we refrain from sitting down as a married couple to record our regularly light-hearted and (hopefully) funny show.
Instead, we have decided to take a stand. Each day, we will share listening content regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. A new link will be available, matching the referenced post that day.
Our share today comes from , which contains their episode for this week, where they have come up with a non-comprehensive list of black individuals killed by the police since the 2014 death of Eric Garner. They speak to writer regarding his 2015 essay entitled, "What Does Seeing Black Men Die Do For You?", and what changes, if any, have been made since then.
We ask that you not only take the time to educate yourselves, but also share with everyone around you that are willing to not only listen, but change their behaviors and outlooks. Each of us needs to BE and DO better!
