There are so many engaging way to format your content on Instagram, but it can be a drag if your image is cut incorrectly. Instagram dimensions are aspect ratio and size that make an optimal length and width of the content you post to Instagram. The traditional feed post is a 1:1 square. You can also post portrait or landscape photos on instagram just tap the square in the bottom left side of your post to expand to the image size (see 2nd slide for aspect ratios).

Instagram Stories and Reels are other amazing tools. These tools have different dimensions than feed posts. It's important to take up the full screen size available to capture your audiences attention.

Social Media is a powerful tool to help communicate and build community. There are 5 pillars to be aware of as you develop your business profile.

I. Purpose. WHY do you exist?
II. Personality. WHAT is your voice and tone with your audience?
III. Positioning. HOW are you different? Why should they follow / buy / etc.
IV. Perception. WHO are you to your audience?
V. Promotion. WHAT do you want them to do? How do they engage with you? (In store, online, through messaging.)

Connecting with customers in person. Tis the season for vendor fairs and last minute gifts. Everyone is running at full pace. When you only have minutes to connect with your customers you can create a fun and easy way to build your relationship. Download your IG Name Tag and put it on your next event flyer, in store signage, product tag, or mirror. All your customer needs to do is open their phone camera to scan the Name Tag and they will effortlessly be taken to your IG profile where they can follow you.

A social media strategy can be starts with know what your business objectives are for social media, making sure your goals align with your objectives, and using metrics to tell you how you're doing and what you need to change to meet your objectives and goals.

What is the best time to post on instagram? The answer is simple. Post when you have the most followers online.

This is different for each account. If you have a business or creator account go to Insights → Total Followers and scroll down to Most Active Times, you'll see which days of the week — and which approximate times — your followers are the most active on Instagram. This data will give you better insight into when the best times to post, based on your own audience are for higher performance.
