"When God Says, ""Let's Go.""
There are times in life when we feel stuck.
You've prayed, you've cried, you've tried to fix it,
but you find that nothing has changed.
Deep down, you already know why—
because God has been gently reminding you: it's time to move forward.
But you tell yourself, ""Maybe if I just try a little harder...""
And so you stay in that relationship that breaks your heart again and again.
You cling to that memory that has long been a source of tears.
You keep watch at the door that God Himself has closed.
And then, you start to lose your peace.
You can't sleep at night. There's a heaviness in your spirit.
You ask, ""God, why does this hurt so much?""
The truth is, it hurts because you are struggling,
while God has already set your new direction.
When God says, ""Let's go,""
He isn't punishing you;
He is protecting you.
He is leading you out of a toxic place
and into the new season He has prepared for you.
Sometimes, God removes the very thing you prayed for Him to keep,
not because it was bad,
but because it no longer aligned with His will for you.
The season had already changed, and you just hadn't noticed.
So He reaches out His hand, guides you gently, and says,
""It's time. Let's go.""
Maybe you ask Him, ""Lord, where are we going?""
But He doesn't show you the map.
Because He doesn't need you to see the whole journey.
He just needs you to trust His hand.
The deeper the trust, the fewer the details you need.
And when you finally say ""yes"" and take that first step,
you will discover He never left your side.
All those tears, all that waiting, all those goodbyes—
they were all leading you to right now.
So, if you are still holding on tightly
to something God has already asked you to release,
the time is now.
It's okay to let go.
It's okay to move forward.
Because what's ahead is better than what's behind.
God hasn't ended your story;
He's just changing the direction.
