Today, Dreamers, we celebrate the life and legacy of our most favorite Legend— Leista Wade.

On this day, in 1949, Leista was born in a small town called Sulphur Springs, Texas to the parents Earnest Wade, Sr. and Essie Lee Ford Wade. Being the baby sibling of 6, Leista lived a profound life breaking records at the Texas School for the Blind and Visionally Impaired. Leista never allowed her eye sight to stop her visions in her community and amongst her children and grandchildren. It was rumored at the time of her passing that she was the “neighborhood Grandmother.”

Leista made it clear to the small town that her children & grandchildren were her most favorite achievements by always honoring them in the local newspaper and radio. Today we honor her children, Camille Wade Spivey and Marcus Wade. Her grandchildren from oldest to youngest: Allisiana Davis, Peyton Tilley, Marcus Wade, Jr, Justin Spivey and Jordan Spivey. All carrying the torch they aspire to continue to lead in Leista’s honor.

Within our company, today serves as a National Mental Health Day. Once we obtain employees, this day will always be a day off to enjoy your loved ones and family. Though we miss Leista tremendously, we will continue our pillar in the community in her honor and legacy.

Our CEO has FINALLY taken her hands off our debut album for release! To celebrate her birthday today, CEO & Founder has announced her debut album, “Somebody Prayed for Me,” will be available on December 31st!

We originally planned to release this 2 year project today to celebrate Allisiana’s day, but ran into issues with sample clearing. Here’s a statement from Allisiana:

“While SPFM was originally set for my birthday, I believe in divine timing being the key. I wanted my fans to have this tape before 2022, so what better way to kick off NYE?!”
