Patriot Productions is a Richmond based, owned & operated audio and video production company. Where does the name come from?
After video taping sports in high school for four years followed by another two years in the athletic department at the University of Richmond, I decided to my passion to work more fulltime. That's when I decided to brand my acquired audio and video editing skills into "Patriot Productions". Since my high school mascot at Patrick Henry in Ashland was the Patriots, it only made sense to go with whe
re it all got started back in 1996. Since Patriot Productions was formed in 2003, I've been called on to do work for well respected businesses such as Farm Bureau Insurance, Special Olympics Virginia, The Touchdown Club of Richmond, VCU Athletics and much more. I can do simple photo montage videos, on-site videography, weddings, memorial services, and sports highlight videos just to new a few of our services.

It was a busy weekend, from Saturday morning at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart to the Central Virginia Dance Academy Showcase at Dominion Energy Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday/Sunday afternoon and evening.
Had a great time earlier this week meeting some new people and taping interviews at the Medical Society of Virginia.

The annual turf burn at Rosie's Gaming and Colonial Downs in New Kent is always a fun afternoon of getting to fly the drone to snap some pictures and grab video for the highlight reel we're putting together.

Our FAA Part 107 certification has been renewed for an additional two years, allowing us to continue capturing stunning aerial footage and providing clients with unique perspectives that they may not have considered before.
Pretty cool that a boy from Hanover County would one day do video production for Churchill Downs. The team and I streamed and provided in-house audio for Rosie's Gaming and Colonial Downs Awards program last night in New Kent. The first of a few trips to the track over the coming weeks as they start preparing for the 2024 live racing season.

We set up a time to talk this past Friday morning where he detailed what he was looking to have done and by this morning at 9 a.m. the project was finished. I've spent the last three months working with Page Custom Rods & Restoration in Goochland on a re-designed website to showcase their work and add an online store where consumers can buy their custom-made parts and apparel. It's still a work in progress but I'm thrilled with the results so far.

This is the second video I produced for VCU Sports Properties and VCU Dining Services. Our continuous autofocus camera and gimbal are a great combination to provide smooth footage even when a lot of movement is required. Equipment used: Canon 5D Mark IV, DJI Ronin SC
