Hello!! It has been a while - mostly because the last few months I was training for the first Atlanta Tour de Fox, benefiting Parkinson's disease research. My wife and I raised over $1000 for the foundation and I rode 34 miles on my 1980 Peugeot Competition road bike, it was definitely the oldest bike there by a few decades! I guess this page should have been called "Creative Riding Solutions!" 😂 I have some new stuff in the works, good stuff, soon enough.

Big thanks to Scott Walker of Atlanta Bike Tech for saving this bike for me, after an unfortunate collision after Critical !

We've all received the well-meaning advice to "stay positive." The greater the challenge, the more this glass-half-full wisdom can come across as Pollyannaish and unrealistic.

I bought countless books during my time at Georgia State University, this one was by far the most influential to my writing. I was talking with my writer friend, Regan Leigh, about how great the 3 A.M. Epiphany is and thought I would give it a shout out! If anyone is interested in writing for fun, this book sets the parameters of different scenarios for you to exercise your writing - some can get weird!

This was one of my first short stories that I extremely proud of during my Creative Writing program at Georgia State University. The fictional medieval city of Vinlay is based heavily on my experiences in Maastricht, Netherlands - which is where I took this photo in 2006. I hope you enjoy.
