Life Chronicles is an immersive journey through the major milestones of the world and all living things. The adventure started us at 35 billion years ago and was quite an experience! With immersive art installations from block to block and LIVE music, Charlotte Shout! is an ideal event for family and friends where you can come experience art in a new way, play and be entertained. It’s especially beautiful to see how this festival intentionally engages children with limitless STEM-styled installations and activities. I mean, they are having a blast! Always an adventure partnering with Over The Edge x Make-A-Wish Georgia for fun in fundraising! This year, 92K was raised! 🧗🏾‍♂️🎉 Over The Edge (“OTE”) facilitates signature urban rappelling events to raise money for non-profits all over the world! One of my most memorable experiences during my recent visit to @museumoffailure in Brooklyn, NY was this wall of failures at the end of the exhibit. Instead of people parading their successes, everyone gets a chance to write out something they’ve failed at on a sticky note and putting it on the wall. Granted some of these were hilarious, it was still a powerful mural of people admitting failure. This activity provided a way for the reader to recognize that we all fail at things but have the opportunity to learn from it and use it as a means of innovating ourselves. It reminds me of the scripture in Jeremiah 18:4 that reads, And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. I think when we take a look back over things we’ve regretted or wished to have done differently, we can see that God was there all along, guiding us and working good through the bad. In turn, we are innovated into better people and more thoroughly equipped to help others! Anyway, that’s the message. Happy Wednesday. Amen🙏🏾 Another thing, I’ve always considered myself an innovator by design. It’s the way God has wired me and life has cultivated. Innovation is introducing a new idea or implementation that creates value and drives productivity. Never knew until this exhibit that the failure is the fuel to innovation. SELAH.
