FREEZE! DONT MOVE! Because I want to tell you about my Mei Cosplay!

I’ve had a few questions about this cosplay so I’m gonna answer them!

❄️ Where did you get it?
I thrifted most of it, got the wig off Amazon, and painted the design on the shirt with fabric and acrylic paint!

❄️ What skin is that?
This is Mei’s Pajamei skin for Overwatch Summer Games! I love it so much! It’s so comfy!

❄️ Will you do more Overwatch characters?
Absolutely! I want to do Mei’s honeydew skin as well as a bunch of Sombra skins! I cannot wait to get them together!

Before I would open submissions, post everyone and then open again when I was ready to post more but I think now I will be posting it at least once a month!

🐉 When/where can I submit?

Submissions are open all the time! The Google form is in the Linktree in my bio!

🐉 How do you decide who to post?

I POST EVERYONE!! Everyone who submits will be posted in the order they submitted! Just be patient and I promise we will get to you!💜

And with that the 2024 season comes to a wrap!

I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I had this year especially after a hardship hit my family unexpectedly but we’re working through everything and honestly I think the hardship taught me a few lessons.

A major one being work with what you have. You don’t need all the fancy and new stuff to make awesome cosplays or cosplay content. You just need a little bit of space, time, and determination with that you can do anything!

Thank y’all so much for your continued support and I cannot wait to see what happens next year! And remember stay positive, you’re bigger than your challengers. Y’all got this, I got this, we got this 💜🐉

Personally I’ve noticed the trend of fast fashion making its way through the cosplay community so I wanted to take the time to talk about my experiences with it and why I try to be as sustainable as I can when it comes to cosplaying.

Let this post serve as a reminder that you don’t need a new cosplay for every convention, if you’re going to get rid of cosplays attempt to sell/donate them, or recycle the pieces for another cosplay 💜

Cosplay is an incredible art form but we still gotta take care of the person under the wig 💜

In forgetting this important step my depression got the best of me during Anime Weekend Atlanta dealing with personal things, con crunching, and already having mental health issues more so during the holiday season I experienced the worst burnout I have ever had and I’m sad to have missed hanging out with friends and the whole con for the most part.

Take this post as a reminder to take care of yourself and your mental health comes first.
