Aaaaanyway. I finally willed myself slash found my self in the mood to sit down and watch the Batman last night. It is a solid good movie. The cinematography is superior art. Visually it is gorgeous at nearly every frame, which is an impressive feat for a 3 hour movie. Paterson is plays a great Batman and a whiny Wayne.
The whole cast is incredible. Said with humility. I believe literally incredible. John Turturro was an inspired choice to play Falcone. I discover something I didn’t know about my self. I really, really like it when Turturro plays a gangster. I’m thinking about when he played in Matt Damon’s old movie Rounders.
I do have some criticism’s of the movie too. Almost exclusively, they have to do with the length of the movie. While it maintains a pretty decent tempo, it did kind of drag at some of the more lengthy dialogue scenes.
I friend of mine made a comment that this is what you get when you cross Seven with Batman. I couldn’t agree more and for that reason I really did enjoy this movie and would give it my recommendation.
