Friday checkin: back at it again and still eliminating excuses. Let me tell you I suffer from plantar fasciitis in my foot and right now it’s flared up iykyk the pain just to walk and although it’s an amazing excuse not to walk it’s not mine.

The way I look at it I walk everywhere else so this walk is for my health which affords me to walk everywhere else 😂. It’s about perspective. I’m not racing against anyone so I go at my own pace the one that my body and foot are comfortable.

For me I do a minimum of a mile and a minimum of 30 min if I feel up to it I do more however my goal is the minimum. Remember your pace your race in whatever you are trying to accomplish.

Back at it again walked a mile and a half I always make sure I at least do 30 min if I don’t do anything else and I build on it. Remember your race Your pace! Let’s get it for no one else but you!

Back at it and y’all I gathered a revelation

I’m learning that consistency truly is the key you have to find your own pace in this race and know that the only person that you’re racing against is yourself.

When I started back working out I wanted to knock out my calorie my exercise goals quick however the thing I did was burnt out quick, however when I dropped my speed and went at the pace that was comfortable for me I lasted longer.

The saying steady wins the race, now they were on to something so find the pace that’s good for you. You can build on that pace however, if you’re wore out, you don’t wanna do anything but stop.

So drop the pace whether it’s an exercise journey work, life etc. go at the Pace that’s comfortable for you and build on that.

When I tell you, I not only love fashion, but I love promoting self-care and yesterday I went to the chiropractor for the first time in years and didn’t realize how much my body needed adjusting .

We add pedicures and manicures and all of that to our self care, but we also need to add chiropractic adjustments to our routine especially if you’re sitting down or just if you’re working on your feet you need to be adjusted. It can be once a month they could be every two weeks you decide how often you need it.

Baby the way he was adjusting my neck my feet my back all I could say is please don’t let my wig fall off 😂😂.

It was almost like this ⤵️
