OUABJ helps its members to maximize undergrad professional opportunities in various areas of Journalism and Communication Studies through resume workshops, professional development trips, alumni networking/mentoring programs and an affiliation with the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). Students with majors outside of those within the Scripps College of Communication are also strongly encouraged to join.
