Lipedema is not rare, but a proper diagnosis is rarely made. Dealing with Lipedima can be a lonely and confusing journey. It certainly has been for me. There is no definitive diagnostic tests for lipedema. It is often misdiagnosed as obesity, lymphedema, Dercum's disease, or chronic venous insufficiency. Underlying lipedema may be present in patients with these conditions. Jean has educated herself and is constantly reaching out for new information. She has made herself into the well deserved title of "One of the leading Experts" I have been working with her now for almost a year. My results have been great. She has helped me to improve lymphatic flow, reduce inflammation, and manage pain (for years I have been told I have Fibromyalgia without any relief) Jean has a CVAC machine in her office. No Body Taught Me How To Fail!
Quit and failure have never been words that were in my life. I have been asking myself How did this happen? What did I miss? The questioning is relentless. It seems that 3am is my time to be awake to ponder all that is happening. So right now I am taking inventory. Two columns. What worked well and What could I have done better. It's never the wrong time to take an inventory of your business.

Hello, We are now in week two of trying to move forward with deciding where we are going with the magazine. I have been meeting with people that are educating me about our next options. I am very amused with all of the gossip I am hearing about what happened. I have been honest and transparent. I have been thinking about making this a daily blog about all of the lessons I am learning. Business is a wonderful proving ground for many life lessons. Starting with an Idea and moving into ex*****on. Just the function of breathing is a lesson in itself.

Good Morning, by now most of the population has heard that Oh! Woman, A WNC Woman Publication will no longer be publishing a print magazine. There have been a lot of factors that have brought me to this decision. As a company I made the decision that I wanted small women owned businesses to be able to afford to advertise. We walked a thin line on our profit margins. When recent paper pricing and printing pricing went up we were not able to breach the percentage gap between the current ad pricing and the cost of doing business. For 16 years this magazine has served the community and the community has served us. I am currently looking at the options of how we will go forward with the Oh! Woman Brand and the part the WNC Woman Publishing will have going forward. We appreciate the support we are receiving from the community. If you have a question or concern please call our office 828-575-9444 your call will be returned as soon as possible.

The February Issue is now available in our usual locations.
