✨WORK BENCH PROGRESS SHOT✨

I can finally stop dragging my table saw around, always trying to get it out of the way. It’s so convenient to have this on wheels as a miter station with a custom built extension for the table saw.

Lots of caulking, sanding and painting to do, but I’m so excited to use it already!

For me it’s our — I have a thing for clean, white spaces and this morning view brings the clarity I need to function through the day. Not to mention the natural light it gets that’s so important for your mood.

✨CONSOLE REVEAL✨

She’s finally done! Can’t believe I made this from scratch! It took me almost nine months to get this piece done with lots of pivots. There was so much to learn in this process. Also the first time I made drawers!
I’m so glad I redid the top, because it looks way better than I had imagined!
I won’t be able to properly decorate this space until after the holidays but I wanted to share the final piece since it took forever to get here! Thank you for following along and your patience while I took my time to figure this baby out! You are my people! 💕

✨ORC FORMAL LIVING ROOM REVEAL✨

Better late than never, right?
I am exhausted and a bit disappointed that I couldn’t make it within the deadline, but the important thing is, it’s done and I DID IT!

Well, almost done — my faux plant delivery got lost and now it won’t come until after the holidays, but I couldn’t wait to reveal!
There are so many DIYs here, from all the furniture to wall art and even an upcycled decorative bowl. I will share all the details of those smaller DIYs, but for now, I’m just going to sit back and relax in this room with guests over the holidays!

✨End Table Reveal✨

I wish I could say final reveal—but I have a few things to finish up here.

For now, I’m just so happy these end tables are both finally done!
If you were following my stories, you may have seen I had to pivot halfway because the initial design didn’t seem to work for the size I wanted. I’m so glad I changed plans because these work so well with the room, keeping to current shapes and style. What do you think?

✨ORC WEEK 7 - End Table Progress✨
I said no reveal, but who said anything about no progress? 😂
Managed to get one of these beauties up for a progress picture before we left for our mini vacation.
I had to pivot halfway because the design wasn’t working for the size I needed. But I couldn’t be happier, because I found a simpler solution that would help maintain the shapes I have going in the space and still keep the focus on the coffee table.
These will be ready to pretty up when I return next week 🤞🏽

✨ORC WEEK 5&6: Coffee Table Reveal✨

Here she is in all it’s glory! I can’t believe I managed to pull this off. Took longer than I thought, but I’m so happy how it turned out. The various tones are blending in so well and this tiny room is looking so much bigger and much brighter than before!

The curtains and cushions add in a nice pop of color. Let me know what you think.

We’re already in week 3 of the and the is slowly coming to life. The structure is ready (well, almost) and I can’t wait to pretty it up!

✨CONSOLE - PROGRESS✨

Console frame is done - well, almost 🙈 I have to add support on the base and then some caulking and sanding, before we get to the fun stuff!

Yes, I know this project has taken me forever and it’s not even done yet. But you know what? That’s ok. Sometimes you need to take some things slow. Life always get in the way, but as along as you keep going at your own pace, you are going to be just fine!

It’s and this fall, I’m turning this eyesore of a living room into a space that is warm, welcoming and most importantly, looks like it belongs to our home.

It’s pretty much a blank canvas. Everything other than the sofa needs to go. Lots of new additions and furniture builds coming up!

Did you know that September is paediatric cancer awareness month 🎗

Two amazing mamas in our DIY community and have sons battling paediatric cancer and have put together this campaign to spread awareness and raise funds for childhood cancer research.

As a small part, I have decided to donate 50% proceeds from these limited edition wristlets designed by me for the cause.

The other 50% proceeds go to an education fund run by my family to help educate children from less fortunate families in Pakistan (more details on this in stories).

This was a bit challenging because the sink is attached to the wall on the left and I wanted to have a frame on top to give it a finished look (swipe to see). So glad I managed to do it!

✨ORC FINAL REVEAL✨
I still can’t believe I actually did this! ALL of it! This project has been a true labor of love, especially the stencil wall which took the longest and required so much patience.
I’m so proud of myself and extremely happy with the results.
I have a few minor things to do and add the utility sink cover eventually, but for now - we can call this complete! 😄

✨ORC WEEK 5 - STENCIL WALL DONE✨

We are in week 5 of ( ) and I can’t believe at 2am we were finally done with stencilling this accent wall!
I doubted myself so many times during the process, but I had a vision for this space that kept me going.

If you don’t have a super active toddler at home, this may be a two-day project, but it took me over a week 😁
