Ansel Adams was a prominent photographer born on this day in 1902. His work covered a broad range, highlighting the beauty of and the injustices of Japanese Internment during WWII.

The timelessness of Adams’ work was captured through the focused black & white style he favored. The images he captured illustrated the importance of our nation’s wild places, emphasizing the significance of preserving them for future generations.

This image is not Adams’ works but the winning photo from our giveaway that we felt best captured the essence of his photographs. Congratulations to Rebecca Fellers Photo & Video for being our winner!
