Charges of driving under the influence filed last year against Bowie City Council member and Mayor Pro-Tem Adrian Boafo were dropped last month, court records show.

Commentary: At City Hall, we will continue our efforts to make sure you are informed about city services and programs, but without the Bowie Blade-News, I expect we all may have to work a little harder to maintain the connections that have long made a group of local neighborhoods into the community of Bowie.
