Laguna Madre Charcuterie - early this evening it started to look like there might be a little sunset color over the Laguna Madre, so off we went with camera gear and a mini-charcuterie plate for the upcoming tailgate party. Though a slow start, it came together with what I had in mind, capturing the details of a sunset…less about the big picture, and more about the fleeting details that emerged at times as the reflected light from the clouds lit the water. The smallest ripples, the fleeing mullet, little things each serving as a highlight to a shared evening.
“We experience happiness as a series of pleasing moments. They come and go like clouds, unpredictable, fleeting, and without responsibility to our desires. Through honest self-work, reflection, and meditation, we begin to string more of these moments together, creating a web-like design of happiness that drapes around our lives.”
