Dakota Brough pulls off the 150 laps feature win along with the season championship!!!! Brough Motorsports IRacing Team came out strong in this season and fought with Jeff Ward and Brayton Laster most of the season to pull off the Cinderella story!!! Timmy Perkins and Austin Swinford entered the season events but the crossover kept them from some decent top finishes!! Overall the team worked great together all season!!!

Your iRacing XTreme Figure 8 Racing Series Presented by Pole Pursuit Marketing Season 2 Champion and last night's race winner is Dakota Brough! Dakota ran 2nd in points all season long and was finally able to put together a dream run to steal the championship away from Jeff Ward. Dakota started 7th and by lap 13 was leading the race and never looked backed. Leading the next 137 laps and winning 2 laps over the 2nd place car of Brayton Laster. Dakota took advantage of Jeff Ward's rough night due to excessive crossover incidents that saw him finish a season-worst 17th place. Dakota fought off a hard-charging Laster who managed to get back onto the lead lap with just 50 laps to go and close the gap down to just 12 seconds but the crossover ultimately ended that charge sealing the deal for Brough. Laster was also able to sneak around Jeff in points and finish 2nd, just 10 points behind Dakota.

Logan Brough will be making his IRacing league debut tonight in Tyler Daniels Racing League!! He’s piloting the #51 1987 Monte Carlo Tonight in the season opener at Bristol!! He will be competing for Brough Motorsports on Thursday nights in the 87 cup car league!!!

LETS GO!!!!!! 1st, 3rd, and 14th!!! 2 races to go and Dakota is closing the gap!!

In a race full of excitement and non-stop crossover action the iRacing XTreme Figure 8 Racing Series Presented by Pole Pursuit Marketing saw another 1st time winner! The Brough Motorsports team came into last night looking for a strong run and that is exactly what they had. For the first time this season they had all three cars make the feature and put on a heck of a show. Heat Races and the Last Chance Race was as always entertaining to watch and showed some great acts of driving amongst our drivers. For the 3rd time in a week Jeff Ward started up front in the feature but quickly hit a roadblock and for the 1st time in his iRacing XTreme Figure 8 Racing Series career he struggled through the main event. After numerous racing incidents throughout the race Jeff fell down through the field as Dakota moved his way up the pack. Dakota came into this 2nd in points 21 points behind points leader Jeff Ward. After Jeff Ward was able to salvage a 6th place finish, Dakota Brough was able to come out on top and close the gap. He has put himself just within 13 points of Jeff with only two races to go and given himself a chance to make this the ultimate championship battle! J-Rob Masterson and Austin Swinford rounded out the podium after a 5 car battle for 3rd throughout the race saw Swinford come out on top.

Dakota got 3rd last night with the least incident points putting him 2nd in points!! 4 races to go with 1 down!! See how the season turns out!! Next Sunday we repeat with another 50 lap feature!

After reviewing footage from our first race of the iRacing XTreme Figure 8 Racing Series Presented by Pole Pursuit Marketing, Jeff Ward, our unofficial winner, has been now officially scored as 2nd place. On lap 20 of the race, Jeff was hit in the crossover coming out of two and due to an error with iRacing's scoring system it technically gave him an extra lap, Jeff did nothing wrong, it is just an error with iRacing. Something similar also happened to multiple drivers within the top 5. With this being said, Blaine Akin is now scored as the official winner of the IndyAutoRecyclers.com 50. Had Jeff not been scored an extra lap, Blaine would have won by around 5-10 seconds.

Lucas Gortman #51 and Dakota Brough #52 entered the 250 lap Food City dirt race in the TDR Iconic Series this morning! Both drivers managed to stay in the top 5 all race long, and both managed to lead laps in the event!! As the intensity built toward the end of the race, battles were fierce! After very little cautions, Lucas Gortman finished 2nd and Dakota Brough managed to finish 5th.

The Iconic series season opener went well for Brough Motorsports, managing to bring both pieces of equipment to a finish inside the top 5. This is giving us a good jump to the series standings! This team is working hard and looking forward to the next Iconic Series race on April 25th at Talladega! Where Brough Motorsports will have its full 3 car team contending to try to bring home a trophy!

Tonight Dakota Brough and Timmy Perkins Tackled Atlanta in Tyler Daniels Racing’s Friday Night Lights series!! After a few incidents in tonight’s race both drivers ended up caught in a couple of them.. Dakota brought it home 7th and Timmy following behind in 9th of 25 car field! Dakota still holds the points lead with only 6 races left in the season!! Timmy is currently 5th in the points run!

Next weeks Friday Night Lights Series tackles the tricky FIGURE 8!!
