The Alaska Sports Channel is dedicated to bringing you live coverage of Alaskan sporting events and events that are interesting to Alaskans. The Alaska Sports Channel delivers programming via the internet, local television stations, and cable channels. The Alaska Sports Channel also trains youth for careers in broadcasting by giving Jr. High and High School students hands on experience using television equipment.

Cancel APD Missing Person Locate: 6-year-old Stephen Keith has been located safe. Thank you for your assistance.

APD Officers are requesting the public’s help in locating 6-year-old Stephen Keith. He was reported missing on 10/7/2023 at 1:24 PM from the 1800 block of 80th Avenue and ongoing efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful. Stephen is approximately 4’5” with black hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a grey Sonic shirt, grey jeans, and light-up shoes. He is not wearing a jacket.

There is a large police presence in the area of 80th Avenue and Northwood. Depending on the situation, a drone may be used in the search.

Call APD at 311 if you have any information.

UPDATE; The family has been found

Just before 4PM on May 7, 2023, a young male, approximately three or four years old, was found outside by himself on the 3000-block of Ambergate Drive. That street is in a neighborhood to the southwest of the Baxter Road and E Northern Lights Boulevard intersection. The child is currently with APD officers; so far, he has been nonverbal and ongoing efforts to locate his family have been unsuccessful.

Suspect is 23-year-old Eric Chaney Jr., black male adult 5’8”, 150 lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a dark ski mask, light colored hooded sweat shirt, white or tan and blue, with Chicago Cubs logo on Sleeves and dark pants.
