I've never really found a good, succinct way to describe my DJ style. While I like a blend of lots of different genres, I naturally gravitate towards a mix of 80's new wave, 90s-current darkwave (in the goth/industrial family, leaning towards artists like VNV Nation, Covenant, etc. rather than the harsher/screamier industrial stuff), synthwave, dance/electronica/house, whatever pop ('80s-current) catches my ear, novelty/parody dance tracks, and mashups.

I'm now pretty sure that my style is best described as "dorkwave". ;)

(The only downside being that nobody would know what that meant, and I'd have to explain it all, so it doesn't really save any time or make things any clearer.)

Well, I disappeared for a little over a year, but I think I'm back for a while! At least over summer. However, I'm not going to try for a set schedule, and instead will just pop up randomly when I have time (though I am going to try to show up at least weekly). In the meantime, here's today's mix. Just an hour of goofing around, mostly just to make sure I had all of my virtual wires connected correctly after a year away (and having moved to a new computer during that year).
