Wes Studi's has had one long enjoyable acting career. He was raised in Nofire Hollow Oklahoma, speaking Cherokee only until he started school. At 17 he joined the National Guard and later went to Vietnam. After his discharge, Studi became politically active in American Indian affairs. He participated in Wounded Knee at Pine Ridge Reservation in 1973. Wes is known for his roles as a fierce Native American warrior, such as the Pawnee warrior in Dances with Wolves. In the Last of the Mohicans he plays the Huron named Magua, which was his first major part. Soon after he got the lead role in Geronimo: An American Legend. He was in Skinwalkers, The Lone Ranger, and The Horse Whisperer. He played the Indian out in the desert in The Doors movie, and he was also in Avatar. Studi also plays bass and he and his wife are in a band called Firecat of Discord. Wes Studi also serves as honorary chair of the national endowment campaign, of the Indigenous Language Institute that's working to save Native Languages. He and his family live in Santa Fe New Mexico, and Wes has been in several other movies, TV shows and movies, and mini series. He also received an Academy Honorary Award, becoming the first Native American and the second North American Indigenous person to be honored by the Academy, the first was Buffy Sainte-Marie

I missed National Son's Day...I was too busy taking the kids to Chuck E Cheese and then baking cookies with the girls to notice, but I see now that I missed it. So this is my post about my only Handsome Son. Today, at his school, he is participating in the spirit wear for highlighting the damage of residential schools and the wellbeing of indigenous children by wearing an orange shirt. He went the extra mile by putting the red hand prints for the stolen sisters, the MMIWG.

I have a serious question...a couple actually. Can you fathom your life without a cell phone? Can you imagine yourself living day to day without the world in your hands? Do you think you have what it takes to disconnect from the world?

It's OK if the answer is "No," for ANY reason.
But would you subscribe to a vlog about the journey of someone who chooses to abandon the shackles of a cell phone? Would you be interested to learn what the effects are on a woman that goes against the grain of modern technology? I have hated cell phones for almost 17 years now, but like you, I've always found excuses to keep it. I've always had valid reasons to not get rid of it once and for all. But believe it or not, we used to live life just fine without them!! I'm tempted to take this personal journey head on and not look back. Curious about your thoughts, thank you🙏

Idk what I'm doing anymore. I can't do this by myself, it feels like it's just a waste of time. I haven't been able to get any of my tech to work today so I'm just done. I wanted this whole ordeal to be a FAMILY channel, with MY family doing stuff together. Along the way it has turned into His and Hers, not ours. Idk if my unseen footage will ever get created, I'm tired of fighting the universe.
