Rest in God’s Timing

⏰✨ The birth of Jesus reminds us of God’s perfect timing. Galatians 4:4 says: “When the set time had fully come, God sent His Son.”

This Christmas week, rest in His sovereignty. 💜

Rest isn’t laziness—it’s confidence in knowing He is working out every detail of your life. 🌟

🙌 Be still.
🙏 Trust Him.
💜 Allow His peace to guard your heart as you step into 2026.

Hebrews 12:11

🌱 Growth isn’t always comfortable. In fact, pruning can feel downright painful. But Hebrews 12:11 reminds us of the promise:

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” ✨

Friend, if you’re in a pruning season, take heart. 💕 What feels like loss right now is actually preparation for your greatest harvest. God isn’t removing things to harm you—He’s making space for His peace, His righteousness, and His fruit to flourish in your life. 🌸

💭 Pause and reflect: What “painful pruning” in your life might actually be God’s preparation for future growth?

This year, let’s allow the miracle of Christmas to guide us as we prepare for the new year. Christmas draws our attention to what matters most: the hope, joy, and redemption that came through the birth of Jesus Christ. But Christmas isn’t just a time to reflect on what God had done; it’s also an opportunity to prepare for what He is going to do. Join me for A Christmas Week Reflection.

This year, let’s allow the miracle of Christmas to guide us as we prepare for the new year with a Christmas week reflection.

The Fruit of a Surrendered Heart

When you surrender your heart fully to God, you don’t have to force growth—the Spirit produces fruit in you. 🌿

🍇 Galatians 5:22–23 reminds us of what this fruit looks like:
❤️ Love
😊 Joy
🕊 Peace
🙌 Patience
💝 Kindness
🌸 Goodness
🙏 Faithfulness
🤲 Gentleness
💪 Self-Control

✨ These aren’t things we can manufacture on our own—they flow naturally when we remain in the Vine (John 15:4–5).

As we prepare for 2026, let’s commit to abiding in Christ. Because a surrendered life not only blesses us—it points others to Jesus. 🌟

💭 Which fruit do you want to see God cultivate more deeply in you this year?

How to Remove Spiritual Weeds

Okay, we’ve identified the weeds… but how do we actually remove them? 🌱 Pulling weeds takes effort, and in the same way, spiritual pruning requires intentional choices.

Here are 3 powerful steps:
1️⃣ Repentance – Turn back to God. Ask Him to create in you a clean heart (Psalm 51:10). 💧
2️⃣ Accountability – We’re not called to walk alone. Invite a trusted friend or mentor to pray with you and keep you encouraged. 👭
3️⃣ Boundaries – Guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23). Limit distractions, decline draining commitments, and step back from unhealthy influences. 🚪

🌸 Friend, pruning may feel uncomfortable at first, but it always leads to freedom and flourishing. When the weeds are gone, your roots can go deep in Christ!

💭 Which of these 3 steps do you need most right now—repentance, accountability, or boundaries?

📖 Psalm 37:5 – “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” (KJV)

💬 Your job is surrender. God’s job is fulfillment. 💜 Let go of the timeline, and trust His perfect plan.

Identifying Spiritual Weeds

🌱 Not all weeds are easy to see… some look small, harmless, or even beautiful at first glance. But Jesus warns us that weeds—like sin, distractions, and unhealthy relationships—choke out the Word of God in our lives (Mark 4:18–19).

✨ Spiritual weeds compete with God’s voice. They steal your focus, energy, and intimacy with Him.

Here are 3 common ones to watch for:
1️⃣ Sin – Pride, envy, bitterness, deception… anything that entangles.
2️⃣ Distractions – Overcommitment, endless scrolling, busyness.
3️⃣ Unhealthy Relationships – Connections that pull you away from Christ instead of toward Him.

💭 Take a moment: Which one of these is God highlighting in your life right now?

It’s time to identify the weeds so we can uproot them and make space for Kingdom growth. 🌿

2026 is a year to soar 🦅 — not in our strength, but in His.

“But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” (Isaiah 40:31) 💜

Spend intentional time with Him, journal what He speaks, and walk in Kingdom purpose with courage.

“The enemy doesn’t attack where there’s nothing to gain.”

⚠️ The attacks aren’t random — they’re tactical. If you’re walking in purpose, calling, or breakthrough… expect warfare.

But here’s truth: the same God who allowed the trial is the One who dismantles the attack.
