Ben and Lily got some cool baseball shots at the game yesterday against

Bee, Gus, Harrison and Departmental Secretary Eva, along with Gus’s mother, Jennifer Creter, were in Alabama at Troy University where the Southeastern Journalism Conference (SEJC) was being held.

Congratulations to Gus Creter for wining 7th place in Best Arts and Entertainment Writer and to 2023 Oracle alumna Leah Dunn for winning 2nd place in Best Magazine Feature Writer! Congratulations to Harrison Conder for winning 1st place in the on-site Current Events competition! (Not pictured.)

The Oracle student newspaper turns 100 this year!

As we prepare to celebrate, we are collecting stories from alumni who worked on The Oracle. What did you enjoy most about your experience? Is there an article you were particularly proud of? Did you have the opportunity to share breaking campus or world news? Some responses may be compiled for use in future editions of The Alumnus and on social media.

Feb. 13 - Cookeville, Tenn.

An individual “dilebertly fired their weapon as a result of an off-campus road rage incident,” according to Tech Police, that went through a window of Crepe and Cream on 7th Street.

The individual has been taken into custody. No injuries reported.
