Eden Studios to make an RPG and Card Game for Really Really Good Looking People

Eden Studios announces today to design, produce and distribute of the first ever Zoolander roleplaying game and card game.

“I am proud and delighted to have the opportunity to bring the world of Zoolander with its really, really good looking cast of characters and social commentary to the gaming world." said George Vasilakos, President of Eden Studios. “Who doesn't want to play secret agents recruited from the fashion industry to stop international terrorists!”

The Zoolander roleplaying game will use a special version of the Unisystem, Eden's in-house roleplaying game rules that emphasize storytelling and ease of play, since sometimes really good looking people can’t read good. The rules allow players to take the role of their favorite characters from the Zoolander movies, or make up their own unique fashion model of any nationality or sexual orientation. Fans of Zoolander can look forward to full game stats for Derek Zoolander, Hansel (since he’s so hot right now), Valentina Valencia and even Sting and Billy Zane!

Once "in character," the players bring it on against the forces of Mugato and bad fashion sense using a new “Walk Off Challenge” mechanic added to the Unisystem. “I was so inspired by the walk off scene in Zoolander, I’ve figured out a way to modernized the Unisystem’s game mechanics to incorporate a real time Walk Off Challenge.” said George Vasilakos. “I’ve even separated it to make it its own separate stand alone card game played in real time where the rest of the players at the table vote on the success of your actions! So innovative … so hot.”

While the Zoolander version of the Unisystem focuses on drama, action and looking really really good, it will remain fully compatible with Eden's other Unisystem games, including the Origins Award-nominated All Flesh Must Be Eaten and the widely popular, but cancelled, Buffy the Vampire Slayer roleplaying games. I mean, come on …. you know you want Buffy and Derek to team up... they are both really really good looking.

The Zoolander RPG core rulebook and the Zoolander Walk Off! card game are scheduled for release when Zoolander 3 is released, to coincide with the movies marketing.
