In case you hadn't noticed, Greenleaf's flawless 2024 album 'The Head & The Habit' recently sold out on LP, the band even ran out on tour with some lucky European fans grabbing up the last few copies available 😳. Today we present the first single from our upcoming 'Best of Jethro Tull Redux' album, with Pittsburgh's American-Swiss vintage rock four-piece SWEAT presenting their organ-driven and vocal-rich rendition of the song, "'Back to the Family" 🤘🪗🎸

"This song challenged us in ways that ultimately made us access our own sound from a new angle and understand what makes Sweat Sweat", vocalist/organist Susan Pedrazzi says. "I had suggested the track 'Back to the Family' because the record 'Stand Up' was in my parents' collection and one of the first British prog rock albums I familiarized myself with as a teenager. The song has a wide dynamic range and a lot of breathing space to work with." Drummer/vocalist Kayla Schureman adds: "We almost instantly had the idea to experiment with lots of extra vocal layers. To make it sound even more like Sweat, we included the organ which replaced the main flute riff from the original version. We also took some liberties with the vocal melodies and added a more aggressive second verse and an extra B part."

"Back to the Family" is now streaming on all digital services, and both volumes of our upcoming Jethro Tull Redux installment are available for preorder on gatefold LP and digisleeve CD at our web shop and bandcamp 😎💪
