Did you know this about me? How I ended up with a brain injury:

My Brain Injury is accumulative; At 2 I fell down a flight of stairs and smashed my head again the front door, a year later I got measles and mumps (these are both known to cause brain deficits in young children and deadly together)on our migration voyage to Australia from England. It was hit and miss...In my teens I had several concussions from horse accidents.

In my 20’s I had a chemical trauma causing meningitis that started off memory loss. 11 years later to top it off I was in a car accident in my mid 30’s, I was a passenger. I turned my head 180 degrees and sustained a brain injury from a four-way whiplash.

As a child I had problems reading, basic comprehension and sitting still which was put down to being a behavioral issue. No one put the puzzle together.

In 2015, I had spine surgery that ended up becoming a medical trauma - it has taken me five years to heal from the severe Ptsd. If it wasn’t for my life skills in psychology, counseling, coaching, creative therapies and holistic knowledge I doubt very much I would of survived this last trauma experience. I feel blessed and on purpose...called to raise awareness!
