We had a blast at the grand opening, very excited for this next event. The blazer might make it's debut appearance and the Cobra will be in a couple classes.

Our next big race is Art of WAR 1 on May 09-10th 🏁

True Street: $200 buy in, $5k on top!! 1st round and 2nd round will be back to back. NO AWD or 4x4, Vin, registered, tagged, and plates (NO DEALER TAGS), NO wheelie bars, 275 radial, 17" wheel or larger can be on any size DOT APPROVED radial, NO back half or aftermarket 4-link, Must have working cooling system AND charging system, factory appearing dash, Must have all body panels. Aftermarket hoods are okay, Back seat delete is okay, Must have 2 seats, racing seats are okay, (MUST BE CAR SEATS. NO BABY SEATS, LAWN CHAIRS OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF), Any fuel okay, CAN'T be pushed to the lanes, Cruise is required.

Daily driver: $150 buy in, $3k on top!! 1st and 2nd round will be back to back. Must be tagged, titled and insured, Factory glass, body panels, and frame. (fiberglass hood is okay), Full interior, back seat delete okay, has to be factory style seats, NO aftermarket seats. Working headlights, windshield wipers, turn signals, plate lights etc. (NO missing parts), Exhaust past the driver seat. Trans brakes are NOT permitted, NO slicks, tires must be DOT-rated or a hard tire (NO pro bracket radials.) AWD allowed, must be on a 400 tread wear all the way around, NO wheelie bars, Cruise is required.

6.60: $100 buy in, Heads up

7.50: $100 buy in, Heads up

8.20: $100 buy in, $820 on top!! Heads up

26": $200 buy in, $1k on top!! 26" Tire, NO wheelie bars, factory roof and quarters. Must be a door car.

Scrambler: $200 buy in, $2k on top!! 5.20-5.40 index, random index every round, .400 pro tree, 28x10.5x15 or anything on 17" or bigger can have any tire size, NO wheelie bars. Must be a door car.

Small Tire: $350 buy in, $10k on top!! 28x10.5 Non W, NO wheelie bars, Factory roof and quarters. Must be a door car. Must have driveshaft safety loop.

Tailgate: $200 buy in, $2k on top!! NO full tube chassis (BACK HALF OKAY), Steel cab and bedsides, Fiberglass hood okay, Any tire size okay, NO wheelie bars.

Some unexpected and unfortunate news came across my news feed this afternoon. I met T.j. Bailey last year at one of his track rentals and he was one of the most genuine people. The racing community lost a good one. Texas Motorplex won't be the same. R.I.P. 😇

Well my luck ran out, when I bumped in my thumb slipped off the transbrake and I left early.

I kept the lucky streak going, I forgot to turn on the Co2 for my boost controller and went really slow, but with it being an index class the truck went faster than 6.60 so I won.

Tonight we went to Westx Abilene Raceway for the opening party and tried our hand at their practice tree race for $500. We made it to second round where Chris Raska beat us.

Had a great time! Can't wait to get down the track tomorrow!
