Believe it or not - as a photographer who’s taken thousands upon thousands of photos, there are some that you simply just miss, unfortunately.

This is one of them, and it’s officially my favorite photo that I’ve taken of Mr. who I first came across on the 1984 film “Crossroads” as Jack Butler alongside Ralph Macchio. One of my favorite artists around killing it recently in Sacramento - Ghostemane 🔥

PRIMAL SCREAM!!! My mom caught me in the zone jamming along to the bad boys of the 80’s rock era - Motley Crue. A band that I became a fan of since the age of 12, & 21 years later I was able to witness them live, thankfully. It was definitely the most fun I’ve ever had at a live show. Gone mad would be a total understatement. 🤘🏼😂🤘🏼 Moral of the story - don’t ever let anyone frown upon the fact that you’re a true fan of something. Even though I am a professional at my craft, & have shot for famous bands from all around the world, have looked back behind me and saw thousands upon thousand of people; at heart I’m a fan of music first and a photographer second. Music found me first, it’s my savior, my Alcatraz; & I was able to find my calling because of music. Make absolutely no mistake about it, when it’s time to work, it’s clear cut, straight edge professionalism & I’m hellbent on the quality of my work & my assignments. And there’s undoubtedly nobody who is harder on me than me. But at the end of the day, deep down in my soul, I’m still that kid who fell in love with rock n’ roll, who cranked up the volume of his boom box and never came out of his room because all he wanted to do was listen & learn. And times like this when I’m not working is when I get to pour it all out. Inspiration, passion, & love for music goes a thousand miles, so never let anyone change who you are. 🖤 #JustANormalDude
