I have never seen that many cicada's in my life! The dog, cats and chickens are crazy about them and hunt them all over the place. Talking about thousands here to say the least!😂🤣

Two weeks ago I spread rye grass in the area we cleared. It came up everywhere! Can't wait for green pastures! This area haven't seen the light for decades. The daffodils were under a thick carpet of wisteria and a huge poplar tree. Took a couple years to clear but look at it now! I can't wait to see what else will come up now!

I received a small piece of our house history today from a friend. These etched glass plates with the “HH” (Heritage House) on them, were used back in the day for events. I sure will treasure them and use them when I have friends over. Thank you to my special friend! It means a lot.

Clearing old deadfall. This rootball is as tall as I am, 5’! It looks so much better already! I’m glad I don’t have to look at this ugliness anymore! There are a couple more huge trees laying but we will need to cut them in smaller pieces.

Takin out the dishwasher we found the floor, subfloor rotted by previews leaks and frail old wiring. Replacing everything and bringing it up to code with new wiring. Dishwasher was on the same circuit with the washer! I can not believe they did that! What were they thinking? 😡🤷‍♀️

Renovating the kitchen and taking old cabinets down.
While taking the dishwasher out we found a lot of rot wood from
Previous leaks, on floor, sub-flooring and joists. We will replace everything including all old wiring and plumbing and bring all that up to date.
