This hurricane was devestating! We had a lot of large trees come down and many more smaller broken by the large trees as they were falling. Power cables broken and more. I have never seen such mess before. The whole area and surrounding towns were devastated by the hurricane. Glad people were saved but it changed the landscape for ever. So sad to see huge, mature and healthy trees come down like they were nothing! The grounds were so saturated! Most roads were blocked. A lot of cleanup for everyone to do on the next few weeks. Cleaning has started already at The Heritage House

Big job today! Spreading mulch in almost 100F is not fun but we need to do it before it's start cooking.

The bees are all over our bird baths! They need water desperately, especially during the hot days of summer, as they need to keep the hive at certain temperature. Don't forget our birds and bees. Offer fresh water daily. Follow us on YouTube @ https://youtube.com/@theheritagehouse1
