P square denied “ African category “ during awards
Burna Boy denied “
Afrobeats “
Wizkid denied “ Afrobeats “
Someone with a shallow brain will think they are being ungrateful and disrespecting Afrobeats but that’s not true
You’ll bear with me that P square did more of pop and Rnb but in all awards they were nominated under African category
Burna boy switched up to mixing Afrobeats , Rnb and even Dancehall and was till referred to as Aftobeat artiste , funny
Wizkid has worked for over 10 years , collaborated with Drake , Beyonce etc on
RnB songs but he is not even given credits why !?
These people want to make Afrobeats look like it’s nothing , they forget to know it has many parts , they wanna reduce it to nothing but it will not work
Understand what P square , Burna Boy and Wizkid are fighting for , they want to see Africa respected but guess what the people think they are fighting Afrobeats 😂
Why is music done in America not called “ America beats “ ? But we have Rap , RnB in America , they are not putting it in a box ,
Why only in Africa ?
Let them allow music done in Africa to have different genres , it must not be bundled .
