Arua district environment officer Andiandu Joachim discovered dead in his residential home. He took his own life by su***de. Joachim was recently arrested on allegations of taking 20 million shillings under the DRDIP projects

Very innovative Lugbara who are in diaspora are trying hard to expose Lugbara culture to the world. This has been witnessed by so many content creators emerging from this beautiful land through social media and televised media

Some section of these content creators have have opened an online tv by the names of Awanic TV basically to promote gospel and educative content

According to the CEO of the TV Awanic Morish they have opened YouTube channel for the TV and other social media platforms including WhatsApp groups. Currently the TV is still running online in Facebook

According to Chosen Michael who is believed to be one of the directors of the TV posted into his official page informing the world of the existence of the above TV saying that this TV will help to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ and they are yet to be introduced programs like covering live Sunday services in Churches which shall be running live in the YouTube channel and page and other social media platforms, he continue to say that programs like Adungu special recordings, street preaching, live events coverages and other business related programs are yet to be introduced in the TV

It is clearly known that Uganda got her independance in date of 09/10/1962. This is now what is happening in Tara sub county as the schools in the sub county celebrate the day. I think, independence day is more celebrated in rural areas compared to urban centres. The schools in rural areas normal celebrate the day in many different ways, they normal first start muching in the late morning followed by dramas and road or Street muching meanwhile the schools in the urban centres only much in the late morning.

The revival promoters set to block Fally Ipupa concert in Uganda

The finest and A Congolese national basing in France was set to perform in Uganda starting from 29th Sept in Arua city at Green Light Stadium Onduparaka then on 30th Sept 2023 in Kampala

According to the letter received from the lawyers of the said promoters the event should be blocked

But the Congolese national had send a video announcing his journey to Uganda by today 28 September fally Ipupa will have reached Uganda

I was moving around I heard a beautiful tune it sounds like akamba and Kisi traditional music style called Benga in Kenya but I was surprised to hear some lugbara version. When I tried to ask the who is this Kenyan artist singing Lugbara language they told me it's Lugbara gospel artist called Ejidri Benard who stays in Kampala some times he could go for some special duties in Kenya I got surprised but I decided to download the song and listen to the song

FUFA is set to relegate two UPL clubs to big league. The said club includes Arua Hill Sports Club and Busoga United FC due to failure to obtain liences from FUFA as they failed to meet the standard set by FUFA for every club in UPL. They have been given 7days to comply failure to do so they will definitely be relegated to big league

Mean while in other hand the CEO of Arua hill football club has penned resignation letter to the club currently the p.r.o of the club Lematia Adam Otelul is the acting CEO

Arua Hill football Club may change ownership if the said roumer to sell the club is true. According to some online source the Club owner has put the club on sale in which some people have started to pick interest to submit their bid

Another report also indicates that the future for Arua Hill football Club remains in balance because they fail to fulfill the requirements to obtain license from FUFA. Among the requirements is Barifa stadium which they say is not making standard of football stadium FUFA needs

If Arua Hill football Club fail to remain in Uganda premier league that means the whole of West Nile there will be no UPL game this season

In general meeting Chaired by the speaker of the association Chosen Michael a number of isue were put on place which includes among others, the announcement of their joint concert that 10th December 2023 has being proposed for the mega Concert and other related announcements shall be made soon to communicate the committee members and the venue of the event

Kampala based lugbara gospel artist association has closed to 20 artists in which around 16 attented the meeting in person and some did not attend but gave their apology to the board

In the meeting all the members ought to work together to lift the gospel of Jesus Christ in all areas including promoting one another

The P.R.O of the association said what they need is unit among the members and the community they meet regardless of religion, tribe and language though it is being named By lugbara tribe name. He said that the name is being given like that to promote Lugbara Culture to the world in the gospel of Jesus Christ

Lugbara Kampala gospel artist are the second gospel artists association that agreed to be together in the ministry of God. The first group has been formed in Arua called Arua Gospel artists association (AGA) though in the mid it was not so much functional but we thank God that of recently the management have been working hard to revive it through Football games, join shows and so on

One of West Nile Gospel Artists Chosen Michael is set to grace youth ministry service in a foreign land in Kyotera District Central Buganda region. Chosen Michael is one of the few West Nile gospel artists who are trying to push West Nile music in other regions

According to him, he was official invited by the church administration of Kakuto Community Church to be the guest artists and the preacher of the event. He said there shall be performances from many artists from Kyotera including one of his best friend Ebenezer Deborah.

This event shall be covered live in page of Chosen Michael starting from 9:00 am to 2:00pm

The theme for the event is The was of God are holy

He said everything in the concert went on well but some supporters sneaked in to the venue with guns immediately after his performance there were gun shot from unknown destination which made the promoter nurse injury in his hand.
