DP BLOC OFFICIALLY JOIN NUP.

Today the DP Bloc members have been unveiled into the National Unity Platform(NUP) by the President General of the party Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi for kyadondo East constituency at the Party Headquarters in Kamwokya.

Among those unveiled as members include;

Joseph Mayanja alias Chameleon who is going to run as the Kampala city Lord Mayor.

Hon.Medard Ssegona(Busiro East).

Hon.Muwanga Kivumbi(Butambala).

Hon.Joseph Ssewungu(Kalungu).

Hon.Betty Nambooze(Mukono Municipality).

Hon.Moses Kasibante(Rubaga North).

Hon.Mathias Mpuuga(Masaka Municipality).

Hon.Ssempala Kigozi(Makindye Ssabagabo).

Hon.Veronica Nanyondo(Bukomasimbi South).

These were given party cards to show fully membership to the party.

It was still on the same event when NUP remembered its fallen comrades whose photos were portrayed on photos that were held by some people.

Today's events comes at a time when NUP received a delegation of ambassadors within the European Union yesterday at their party headquarters in Kamwokya.

Today in the morning the Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga has visited the premises of the recently demolished church in Ndeeba.

He was welcomed by some members of the clergy that were taking care of the place where the church was.

Katikkiro was then led by church officials to visit the "Kabaka's Well" that is also on the same site and later shown the debris of the church that was demolished. St.Peter's church Ndeeba was demolished on Sunday night and by morning on Monday,it was already down by some court bailiffs who claimed to have the Court Order that was allowing them to do so.

Later the Katikkiro spoke to the members of the press.

On the same today Dr.Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has also visited the site where the church was brought down.

The President of Uganda His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has also visited the site today and promised for the reconstruction of the church.

The President after his visit in a wording of Facebook said "I passed by the site of St.Peter's Church in Ndeeba that was recently demolished by unscrupulous people."

The President further reassured the church in a statement "I give the church assurances that those complicit will be punished."

President Museveni further said "The bottom line is that the church will retain this land and we shall build a new church. I have now Joined this war."

Ultimately the President expressed his concern about people who have continued to gather even when Covid-19 still being within the country "I also noticed large groups of people gathering in Ndeeba as I inspected the site. This is wrong."
