While reviewing our posted content for the last year we realised that we have been failing at the rule of thirds, which in the end has affected our content's intended goal.

The rule of thirds, means that the human brain has trouble remembering lists of more than three or four items.

So as a content creator and marketer, this is a rule you shouldn't forget if you want to leave a lasting impact on your audience.

We have then changed our content strategies to focus on Information, Connection and Experience (ICE) as our way of implementing the rule.

In ICE we will still focus on the rule of thirds in marketing which focus on share, promote and interaction.

Here is your first step as a content marketer.
1. Focus on Your Ideal Client’s Specific Needs.
Do your research and identify your ideal client’s persona.
 What do your clients want specifically, and what problem are they facing that you can solve
 What do you have that will solve their problem?
 What kind of content do they consume and which platforms do they use to consume it
 Looking for their spending culture and what they spend on, where they spend

You can become someone that makes your ideal client feel seen, heard, and understood. When you make them feel this way, they are far more likely to join your online community, sign up for your email list, listen to your podcast and, ultimately, buy from you.

The next time you’re creating sales or marketing materials, take a step back and ask yourself: Is this really helping my ideal client? If not, it’s time to go back to the drawing board.

A team shared consciousness.

This is a thing in digital marketing and mainly in content marketing teams. To consider yourselves a team you have to be able to think alike.

There are two types of shared thinking that one needs to investigate when creating a content marketing team.

One is Systemic thinking where one understands how things generally work.

Two is the Strong mutual understanding between teams.

Having a content marketing team that understands what needs to be achieved as a collective and on personal grounds between individual team members, strengthens the team's ability to deliver because of the relationships they have with each other on the team.

With that in mind, it is evident that for the team to be in sync they must have a deeper connection to one another and view each other more than just as acquainted employees of the company.
