Where is the Higher level investigation committee that formed by the President of the Republic of South Sudan to investigate roots causes of the conflicts in Upper Nile between Murle and well organized forces of Jonglei state's Rebels ?
Today onwards, We as Murle community vetoed the committee that lead by VIP James Wani. It is because James Wani did nothing to arrest situations as well.
He was baptised by Dinka Bor and Lou Nuer not to prevail what made people of Jonglei state to amalgamated themselves and masacre virtuous people in GPAA, specifically Murle community.
Hence, we are soliciting to the president of the Rebuplic of South Sudan to fired the comedian of higher level investigation committee instantly and replace with others people in order to work for peace not for destruction and ethnic cleansing.
Wani's committee lost directions and missions of discovering roots causes of the fights and the genocide on Murle people.
We are rising our voices against the brutal killing of innocent Murle by Jonglei state youth, and terrorist herdsmen
The South Sudan government's poor response to the attacks was making the escalating situation worse.
The failure to protect innocent people from relentless attacks is evil. The lack of prosecution of terrorists is evil. Our government response to terror attack is, for lack of better words, far below average.
There have been too many mass burials. Too many abductions of children and women, invasions of peoples' homes, invasions of sacred places like churches, mosques, seminaries, etc.
If the world media give comprehensive steadfast coverage to the atrocities happening in GPAA, they will discover that people are dying daily in GPAA from the hands of Dinka Bor, SPLA-IO and Lou Nuer.
We, as the Murle community declared that South Sudan was facing a number of crises including "murderous insurgents ravaging simple communities and lives in the GPAA, and the devastation of towns and villages.
We cannot pretend that all is well with Murle people. We are battling with terrorists, cultists, criminals, abductors, raiders, wicked political leaders, religious bigots and partisan traditional rulers.
May our prayers wipe away evil from our land, soaked by the blood of innocent citizens and melt the stony hearts of people who rejoice at the suffering of other brothers and sisters whom they keep in sorrows.
We are all in black to mourn our beloved brothers and sisters that were killed by Dinka Bor and Lou Nuer, but to complain the collapse of security in the country, the escalated activities of Dinka Bor and Nuer, and the government's lame response.
Consequently, it has become clear even to casual eyewitnesses that Murle lives don’t matter in South Sudan. In this regard, the regime and IO have continued in the manner of debasing and undervaluing Murle lives starting from the days of eminent independent of the South Sudan from the Arabs.
We believe that Murle are acutely aware that this condition is unsustainable. We understand that the only way forward is to arrest the people’s unnecessary suffering and bringing this crisis to a positive end. We believe that the continued perpetuation of misery, targeting the Murle people as a people, is forcing them to reach for desperate measures that, this government can’t eventually manage to control.
We, as concerned children of Murle, are writing to you to make this last call for you to wake up to this fast changing phase of the Murle Program. If the government does not properly respond to the peaceful demands of the people for their rights in a just social order, the Murle people will be obliged to start taking drastic measures that have serious repercussions both for the regime and for the country.
Our people are asking what brought about this apparently endless tragedy to them, including this recent numerous valuation of peoples and their rights.
The answer appears to be in the following:
1. The Murle people had so far chosen to conduct their revolt peacefully.
Murle political leaders, activists, and intellectuals have all been consistently advising against violence and encouraging people to evade all forms of violence.
This was in line with the principle of primacy of peace and wellbeing in the Murle tradition and in their way of being in general.
This choice has been viewed as a sign of weakness and cowardice. The South Sudan regime seems to have chosen to utilize the Murle commitment to peace as an instrument of perpetuating its repressive politics.
2. In the last seven years, our people have taken extraordinary care not to harm other people living among them, especially those who, being from neighbours, support, benefit from, and collude with the regime. This care seems to be mistaken for fundamental and deformity.
However, it should be clear to all that patience has its limits.
Anger and resentment is overflowing among our people. Before patience completely runs out, it has now become necessary for the South Sudan regime and its counterpart known as SPLA-IO to be given a last chance to change the course of its behaviour and ethnic cleansing or genocide on Murle people.
This letter shall have served as a letter of notice to the relevant State and civil societies.
If South Sudan national Security Forces try to disrupt, subvert, or prevent the uprising rallies or if they try to abuse people otherwise during and before the showings, from that era on, the Murle irritation will immediately have entered a new phase with a new mission and strategies.
It shall start taking measures commensurate to the needs of the times.
Kelangboor Army forces (KAF) shall take full responsibility for any and all negative consequences.
Desperate times demand desperate measures.
We call upon the regime to end our people’s sufferings immediately.
We also call upon the South Sudan people, in general, to pay attention to this notice, to bear witness, and to stand in solidarity with Murle brethren and sisters.
We call upon our people to understand the gravity of this situation and to stand together, in consonance, with the usual resolve and determination, as they demand their just and God-given rights in their own land.
