Following the letter posted on. Bobi Wine fb page that asked Hon. Mpuuga to resign, As a member of the National Unity Platform (NUP), we hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

In light of the serious allegations of corruption against Hon. Mathias Mpuuga, the former leader of opposition and current commissioner of parliament, the party leadership deems it necessary for him to step down from his position pending a thorough investigation. Upholding the values of transparency and fairness, we believe that this decision is crucial to safeguard the reputation and trust of this young party as he calls it.

Again, as a member of NUP, We call upon Hon. Mathias Mpuuga to demonstrate his commitment to the principles of the NUP by voluntarily stepping down from his role as commissioner of parliament during the investigation process. It is essential for the party's integrity that all members, regardless of their position, are subject to the same standards of accountability.

We affirm our support for a comprehensive investigation and pledge to respect the outcome, whether it clears Hon. Mathias Mpuuga of any wrongdoing or reveals evidence of misconduct. Unity, integrity, and adherence to our party values are paramount as we navigate through this challenging situation.

If you have not been keeping up with the war, Ukraine is doing quite well. The Ukraine fighters are highly motivated fighting for their freedoms. Last time I checked, the Russians were sustaining far more casualties.(UN statistics)

The Ukrainians are finally getting sophisticated weapons to match the Russians.
Intelligence reports indicate low morale among Russian troops. They were lied to by Putin and told this was a training exercise.

They are writing to their families in Russia saying they do not want to be there. They want to go home.

But the bigger question is why hasn’t Ukraine surrendered. It's like asking why hasn't the mighty Bobi Wine surrendered to the oppressor in Uganda.

I find this strange. They are fighting for their freedom against an evil oppressor. They are fighting to rule themselves. They are fighting for everything most of the world takes for granted-to leave in peace, work and raise your family. These are the most basic components of human freedom.

TODAY’S YOUTH are eager to engage in politics, provided that it entails sleeping in trenches, standing on top of the table, grabbing by the throat those in authority, toting clever banners, chanting something scandalous and posting it on social media next to a trending hashtag.

This is excellent. Participating in protest movements is a good thing. Protests are identity-defining activities, allowing one to integrate politics into the most important emotional activity of early adulthood: creating one’s social persona. Since all politics is to some extent identity politics, this is a great way to mobilise people.

Yet at the risk of sounding like a harrumphing gramps, it is important to point out that in politics, political movement protests are a sideshow, not the main event. Participation in protest movements have now proved the risks of becoming a substitute for engagement in party politics.

Marching is great—but letting it crowd out more substantive forms of political activity is not.

Today’s popular movements, from the KY movement and SUUBI and T.J (Solida), the People’s government and People Power that followed 2021 election, have been extremely successful at mobilising supporters and gaining media attention. But are they producing the change we or they seek??

This is one of the most bizarre businesses that make a lot of money I found on internet today.

Selling virginity for money.

One of the blooming markets for business is selling virginity for money. The business is very simple. A woman who is legal to have s*x will offer her virginity for a rich tycoon.

One of the recent examples for this business model comes from the Model .
Doreen 21announced she was selling her virginity early this year Despite her family's threat to disown her over the ordeal, she chose a bidder. She is from western Uganda.
A 'very friendly' Hong Kong businessman bought her virginity for £2million. Doreen was connected to the man through Cinderella Escorts, a website based in Germany that will take 20 per cent of the £2million bill. Doreen will be accompanied by Cinderella Escorts staff when they meet.
This business model is simple. It is a one time opportunity for the woman. The two consenting adults agree on the time and location, they complete the “transaction” and part their ways away.
Both the individuals are happy, one with money and the other with satisfaction. This is one of the bizarre business models that make a lot of money.

This bothered me.

Nothing bothers me more than fake feminism. Today along Mityana Road at Hot bite restaurant, a woman was beating a man in public because he was having a affair. Now I am not supporting him and before you bash me in comments that I am just like every other guy trying to find a excuse to justify his actions, hear me out.

Had the roles been reversed and the man had raised his hands on his wife, who was apparently having an affair, then trust me, this news would have covered every newsfeed in days. The man would be labeled from a torturer this and that, anything to everything. He would even be the compared to the shameless and selfish Uganda's Chief Justice-Owinyi Dollo.This guy is a disgrace to this nation, however this could be for another day.

But when it is done by a woman, it’s a completely different scenario. People around were like "amusobodde- Malaya ensajja". More than focusing on what the man did, the spotlight shifts on to make more of a fun news to see a man being beaten by a woman.
I mean seriously?? I totally agree that extramarital affair and being unfaithful is totally wrong. Period. But to boil down to physical abuse to prove your point is shameless. The irony is that when it’s a man on the bearing end, it’s not considered physical abuse.

My opinion on Late John Pombe Magufuli.

I think he has been a great president who also made great mistakes.

Now before i go into details, I should admit that this is purely my “opinion” as an African thus it may not reflect other people's opinions.

In case you have never heard of this man, here he is

As I said he is a great president who is making great mistakes, Am not going to outline what made him a great president coz it's people have said that already, am outlining what mistakes he made.

He cracked down on opposition parties and banned any organized political rallies except for himself and his party. Politicians have had a tough time under his leadership and for the first time in the history of this beautiful country there have reported cases of disappearances of opposition politicians. Just like here in Uganda. I guess M7 copied the kidnapping skit from the late. Just recently some unknown assailants fired 32 bullets at a car in which a prominent opposition politician was traveling. He miraculously survived but he was critically injured after 8 bullets hit his body.
He would tolerate no criticism and deals with his critics accordingly. In some cases it looks like he would either accepts no advice or is ill advised by his advisors.
He may have had some really nice ideas but his approach to achieving those ideas was sometimes controversial. For example, in order to tackle the issue of pregnancy among schoolgirls he decided that any pregnant girl should be banned from school even after conceiving.
His crackdown on mining companies though necessary, is ill-advised and very unprofessional. For example, Tanzanite is an expensive gem that is found only in northern Tanzania but due to smuggling and black market their earnings are way behind India,south Africa and Kenya. To tackle this problem this guy announced that the government was going to build a wall around the mines. Now, you don’t have to be a professional to know that.
