*GOV'T SIGNS MOU WITH FUFA FOR CONSTRUCTION OG HOIMA STADIUM*.

Yesterday's evening the Minister of State for Sports, Peter Ogwang witnessed the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, Handover of Tittles and Signing of Land Transfer forms between FUFA and Gov't represented by National Council of Sports (NCS) for the construction of Hoima stadium.

This agreement marks the begining of the first step to achieving construction of Hoima Stadium for AFCON 2027.

"I thank FUFFA, the land owners and Government for the commitment. Together, we will deliver", Ogwang said.

FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo said they have donated the land freely to gov't for purposes of sports development in our country.

"I thank Hon Minister of State for Sports, Peter Ogwang for being workaholic, he has done a lot to see sports development in our country. Special thanks go to the First Lady, H.E The President and Parliament of Uganda for prioritizing sports in our country", Magogo said.
