Ingrid Turinawe Expelled from FDC, Mafabi Asks Members to treat her like a L***r

Party secretary general Nandala Mafabi warned that any FDC party member who will campaign for the independent candidates will also be dismissed from the party.

“The entire public is hereby informed that these independent candidates are not members of FDC and have no moral authority tp act on behalf of FDC”. Mafabi warned.

Mafabi also directed Turinawe and others to stop using FDC colors, sign and threatened to write to the electoral commission to disqualify them if they continue doing so.

Ssemujju Nganda and opposition are not better than President Museveni- Andrew Mwenda

Andrew Mwenda a veteran journalist and Managing editor of Independent Magazine has said that the Kira Municipality MP Ssemujju.I Nganda and other opposition politicians in Uganda are not better than President Yoweri Museveni.

He said last night during a talk show at NBS TV in Kampala, that Ssemujju and other politicians fighting to remove President Museveni from power have nothing much or better to offer only want to come and do self-aggrandizement.

Pointing his hands at Ssemujju Mwenda said “these opposition Politicians fighting President Museveni want to come and paste what he is doing, I don’t see much of want they intend to offer if they got chance to replace him”

Mwenda’s assertion implies that if the Ssemujju’s of this world got chance to lead Uganda could get things to even worse.

Mwenda also lashed at the Civil society organizations in Uganda and likened them to small NGO’s of international community and especially attacked the Inter- Religious Council of (ICRU) for not being independent and democratic.

“I always do not understand why Africans want to depend on foreign aid and donations, why can’t IRCU fund its self. It is only reduced to an international small NGO for Bazugu” he added.

Mwenda said such un independent organizations such as IRCU serve the interests of foreigners and report abroad when they should be accountable to Ugandans if there are genuine and relevant.

Mwenda submerged Ssemujju and reduced him to a political dwarf since he did not have much to say to discredit government among his seniors.
Mwenda qualified his assertions when he said the opposition leaders especially NUPs boss Robert Kyagulanu nicknamed Bobi Wine and FDC’s Presidential candidate Patrick Amuriat for disregarding ministry of Health guidelines on Covid19 and the SOP’s in their campaign rallies which is a threat to the health of the population.

“How can u tell me you are a serious opposition leader (leader in waiting) better than President Museveni when you do not care about the health of the population and can trigger a mass infection of Covid 19 by careless political rallies?” Mwenda asked.
Mwenda said he had lost some close relatives and others were admitted with Covid19.

Why police opened on Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentumu a.k.a Bobi Wine

02/12/2020

The Ghetto TV owned by NUP has shared a video exposing an individual whom they allegedly claim is sent by government to kill NUP'S presidential flag bearer Bobi Wine.

This leaked plan has also been well asserted as an inside plan by exchanges now running allover the media amongst the NUP supporters accusing themselves of betrayal.

02/12/2020

Despite our political differences, church leaders, Buganda Kingdom especially Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga, you should also blame Bobi Wine for holding illegal processions. You should stop blaming police and security at large for teargassing people. Blame the cause, "Bobi Wine."

Former EALA MP, Nusura Tiperu Omar has accused Bobi Wine of associating with foreign forces aiming to destroy Uganda’s peace.

Tiperu asserted that the singer cm politician, real names Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu who is also running for presidency, is an agent of Lucifer, and that he’s so closely related to the illuminati movement.

While Campaigning for incumbent president Museveni in Sironko, Tiperu said, “Bobi Wine is an agent of Lucifer, he is a suspect of homosexuality, he is involved with everything you would not wish your child to be.”

Mentioning all that, to Museveni supporters that had gathered, she asked, “Can such a person be the president of Uganda?” To which the crowd hummed in chorus, “no.”

Tiperu emphasised that Bobi Wine is an agent of foreign forces, and closely associates with individuals who wish to destabilize African states.

She disclosed that the same group have an initiated plan to make Kampala unbearable should Museveni turn out the winner of the 2021 general elections.

Tiperu added that Bobi Wine is now preaching tribalism, claiming that he’s being persecuted for because he’s a muganda. She refuted all the claims, and stated that Museveni has never segregated Ugandan’s based on religion, tribe, gender or status. She affirmed that it would be so unrealistic go back to the time where people joined political parties because of tribes and religion.

She said, “Today as we move, since the president has created other 16 cities, we’re all transcending regardless of where you come from. Today an individual wants us to hate each other, is that really a nationalist?”

“He went bouncing to America saying he was going to be killed, he has since stayed and lived upto now. Isn’t that shame on him?” Tiperu asked, suggesting that while Bobi Wine campained in the North, some of the people followed him because of his music, and he mistakenly thought they supported him for presidency.

PRESIDENT MUSEVENI PLEDGES MORE SUPPORT FOR LIRA CATHEDRAL REFURBISHMENT

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has pledged additional 400 million shillings for the refrabrishment of Lira Cathedral after acknowledging the successful completion of the first phase of the project.

The President in 2018 made a contribution of 400 million shillings for the first phase of the renovation of the 50 year old Cathedral that saw its expansion to a 1600 seating capacity with both interior and exterior modifications.

While announcing his second pledge on Wednesday 21st October shortly after inspecting the church building, President Museveni thanked the Bishop of Lira Diocese and the entire Christian community for the initiative they under took to “build the House of God” saying it is the reason that made him to contribute the 400 million shillings towards the renovation which, according to Bishop Santo Lino Wanok cost 1.1 Billion Uganda Shillings.

Other contributions came from the United States Episcopal Conference and the Comboni Missionaries who gave 50,000 US Dollars and 50,000 Euros respectively on top of funds realized locally and nationally.

The second phase of the project include the rehabilitation of the Bishop’s residence and the church’s parking yard to befit the standard of the upcoming plan for Lira City.

The President later talked about poverty alleviation and the role the church can play in improving household income through agricultural activities. He particularly commended the Gulu Archbishop John Baptist Odama for embracing commercial cassava production that has taken off in Acholi and hopefully in Lango.

To support Lira Diocese’s agricultural programs, the President donated six tractors.

SHAME AS PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS AMURIAT OBOI AND ROBERT KYAGULANYI VOW TO HOLD PROCESSIONS ON NOMINATION DAY.

As Presidential nominations slated for 2nd and 3rd November 2020 gets near, Ugandans are already disappointed in some of the aspiring candidates/leaders who have vowed to hold processions on their nomination day.

As it has been, the processions by the opposition leaders are not intended to show their support but rather to cause chaos and discredit the ruling NRM government.

Addressing journalists at the FDC headquarters in Najjanankumbi on Monday Mr Amuriat vowed to hold a procession to his nomination contrary to the guidelines issued by the Electoral commission (EC).

“EC has issued a number of restrictions during the forthcoming elections. They have instructed us to take only 10 people to Kyambogo for our nominations. I want to inform EC that we shall not conduct our campaigns their way. We shall go with all our people to Kyambogo and all those planning to block us should be prepared because we are known for defiance,” Mr Amuriat said.

National Unity Platform presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine in an interview on Monday said that he will not stop any of his supporters that could want to follow him to the nomination.

However, the pronouncements by the two defiant and chaotic aspiring leaders has triggered more doubts on their reality and love for Uganda and Ugandans.

They say that as the country continue the struggle to combat Covid19, they expected the aspiring leaders to be exemplary and take lead in the struggle but their efforts are not being respected.

“We are disappointed in Bobi Wine and Amuriat for being against the set guidelines intended to combat further spread of Covid19, they are not minding about our lives, a NUP supporter formally FDC noted”

NUP IS NOT A PARTY BUT A CLIQUE OF CORRUPT INDIVIDUALS AND RACISTS.

The ongoing selection of flag bearers in the National Unity Platform party has not only created factions, left individuals irritated with the party`s election management committee and NUP`s Principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentumu aka Bobi Wine who indirectly mans the committee.

This process has instead extremely exposed the impunity that is undercover with in the very young political party following that manner in which they are awarding party flags to only a clique of people who are friends to Kyagulanyi and those who can pay millions of money for the party flag.

The yells by several individual who have been side lined by Bobi Wine and his party`s election management have real justified the incompetence outplayed by NUP officials managing the vetting process.

Many individuals have faulted the procedures NUP saying that the process is shabby with tribalism and cliques. The NUP vetting process is very lousy. They are not carrying out due diligence on candidates.

Some party members say that they await to see the party`s life span cut short after side-lining most of the party`s old members and giving the tickets to the new recruits from other parties into NUP.

“Sam Mukaaku has been in the struggle from the beginning, Nabillah comes for one day from FDC where she has been rejected and picks the NUP flag,” one of the NUP legislators noted, citing unfairness in NUP vetting process.

Someone would believe that may be these individual are selfish and against NUP party if at all the complaints were from a few individuals.

However this seizes not to be a possibility since individual complaints are coming from all the few corners that Bobi Wine`s NUP has reached.

Actually most of these individuals have filled their petitions and vowed to contest as independents in case Bobi Wine and NUP`s election management committee don’t handle their petitions well.

“We cannot allow racism, corruption, cliques and the like characterize our young part,” one of the legislator noted.

“I Was Soliciting Money on Orders of Nyanzi,” Jinja NUP Registrar Speaks Out

As National Unity Platform`s endorsement of aspirant continue to be characterized by high levels of corruption, the arrested Jinja NUP party registrar Saul Nsongambi has exposed the individuals behind extorting money from aspirants seeking endorsement as party candidates.

Mr Saul Nsongambi said, he was ordered by Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi`s elder brother Mr. Fred Nyanzi aka Chaiman Nyanzi to collect money on his behalf from all aspirants seeking NUP flag in the forthcoming 2021 general elections.

“I am not a beneficially of the money being collected from candidates seeking endorsement by NUP,” Saul added.

Recently different reports have been making rounds accusing Chairman Fred Nyanzi for soliciting money from aspirants vying for political offices in the forthcoming general elections to easily endorse them as National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearers.

Nyanzi who is the National Mobilization Secretary of NUP even held a press conference and refuted all claims calling them propaganda intended to tarnish his credibility in the struggle.
However Mr Saul`s wards confirming Nyanzi as the force behind corruption and bribery woes in the a yet to be established party have exposed Nyanzi`s lies.

This has also left the Kamwokya based party members in a shock wondering the source of Nyanzi`s powers to order registrar to solicit money from contenders.

Some members have actually warned and shown their discontent to part management on how the Ssentumu family is getting so attached to financial matters.

“We may be forced to abandon NUP if Ssentumu family (brothers) don’t stop their greed and get off financial issues within the party,” a top NUP official name withheld for anonymity was quoted saying early this week.

Corruption, Favoritism, Nepotism and Segregation Characterized NUP`s Selection of Flag Bearers

Bobi Wine’s NUP has been overwhelmed by Petitions from members who lost on NUP flags in the upcoming General elections.

The candidates who were not considered have come out and said that NUP`s election management committee observed high levels of Corruption, Favoritism, Nepotism and segregation by religion during their candidates assessment process.

They have vowed to run as independents.

Paul Busulwa, People Power coordinator in Kawempe who failed to secure the party ticket to run for LC 3 councilor Kisowera zone has now gone independent. Busulwa claims the vetting process was marred with favoritism and influence peddling saying he is ready to battle with the NUP party flag bearer.

Another member Shamim Nambi is standing for LC 3 Woman Councilor Kawempe Ttula as an independent after losing in the NUP vetting exercise. However Nambi declined to have an interview with media she told our reporter that she wouldn’t take her grievances to the media but is anxiously waiting for her opponents in the field.

Rashid Bulime is the other member who failed to get the party ticket for Local Council 3 in Kilokole zone.
