The PPDA-URF Towers, situated in Nakasero, an upscale city neighbourhood, is a remarkable complex consisting of two 12-level towers. Spanning 15,179 Square meters, the structure encompasses 3 basement levels providing parking for over 150 vehicles. Comprising 7 floors, it houses offices, training rooms, and a 305- seater conference hall. The buildings' design includes two wings, a cafeteria, gym, Day Care Centre, general reception and lobby.
The project was conceived in 2007 when PPDA purchased land at plot 39 Nakasero Road. In 2013, utilizing provisions of the PPDA Act, the PPDA and URF Boards, along with the ministry approval, formed a joint venture leading to the iconic towers' development. Completed in October 2021, the towers faced delays due to COVID-19.
Managed as a condominium, the site has titles, a corporation, and a Building Management Plan. This endeavour could serve as an inspiration for Ugandan government agencies.
