Ekuka morish sirikinti ogwal Adong laid to rest in his ancestral home in Abia sub-county Alebtong District on the 30th-Nov-2024

He was a prominent Lango artist who raised and uplifted Lango cultural Music to the world wide making Lango to be known on the Map.

Ekuka Ogwal Adongo Wot’a-jo-Aryo, a distinguished luminary in the music realm celebrated for his profound songs and invaluable contributions to cultural heritage.

In regards to the response of the cry out by Bus Operators, The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) backtracks on its earlier date of June 2024, the Authority had promised to complete repair works at Karuma Bridge, and now issued the 14th October 2024 deadline, revealing that the repair works upon final completion will add 2-5years life span on the bridge.

FUFA Announces No Compensation from Lango Province for Damaged FUFADrum Trophy

Contrary to speculations, FUFA has confirmed that Lango Province will not provide compensation for the damaged FUFADrum trophy.

This decision was verified by FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo during a recent meeting with football stakeholders in Lango.

Magogo also announced that FUFA has acquired new branded trophies for upcoming tournaments, including the esteemed FUFA Drum. This ensures that the competitions will continue to be celebrated with modern and vibrant symbols of excellence.

FUFA President also revealed that the damaged FUFADrum trophy was already in its final stage of use in the tournament, making the introduction of new trophies a timely.

According to an unconfirmed source, prominent figure Blick, also known as Philly Sowed, has reportedly lost two children in the incident. The driver involved in the accident is also said to have died.

Professor Maros a Top Northern artist in Uganda officially Launched his Album call white sand 2024 which is consisting of 12 songs.

Maros addressed the media and public that he started his career in 2013 where by his fans had been demanding him alot after since he did his first Album named Pandemic during Locked down and therefore he had to come out with a second one white sand Album which he's hoping to be the best of his 2024 release.

Amongst his songs he said he did corporal of production with producers from Northern Uganda and in the central Region as well, amongst his latest single song released is call Aceng and its the song trending so much.

Maros plea and urged the government to find a better way to reorganise the artists to avoid division among the themselves.
He regarded his fans, promoters, fellow artists, and everyone to continue supporting all the Luo music.

LEFT, IS THE BODY OF SUSAN ACEN (42) WHO WAS STONED TO DEATH BY AN ANGRY MOB FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING HER HUSBAND ROBERT ODONGO OTIA (IN THE SACK) WHO WAS HEAD OF THE LC1 CHAIRPERSONS IN AROMO SUB-COUNTY. HE WAS ALSO THE 'MAYOR' OF AROMO TOWN BOARD.

ACEN, REPORTEDLY KILLED MR ODONGO, TIED HIS LIMBS, STUFFED THE BOADY IN A SACK AND HID IT UNDER THE BED. THE BODY WAS DISCOVERED BY THEIR MINOR SON WHO REPORTED TO THE PEOPLE AT A TRADING CENTRE. ACEN WAS TAKEN TO THE POLICE POST, WHICH THE RESIDENTS LATER OVER-RAN AND KILLED HER WITH VENGEANCE.

Acholi Sub-region reportedly found itself in the spotlight yet again as a video surfaced on the internet early Tuesday morning, captivating netizens across Northern Uganda. The footage featured a heated altercation involving a woman and a man over payment for services rendered.

In the video, a woman is depicted engaged in a passionate dispute with a man’s clothing in a lodge. Allegedly, the man failed to fulfill his financial obligations after engaging in warm relations with the woman. Shockingly, the altercation escalated as the woman resorted to strange means to demand her due compensation.

Witnesses were stunned as the woman resorted to slapping her own genitalia, emphasizing that the man had already “used” her and thus owed her payment. The resounding slaps reverberated through the video, leaving viewers puzzled and questioning the fundamental size and settings.

Amidst the exchange of heated words, the woman adamantly refused to return the man’s clothing until she received payment for the services she claimed to have provided. Despite the woman being visible in the video, the identity of the man remains elusive. However, it was noted that they conversed in Luo, indicating a probable connection to the Acholi community in Gulu city.
