One of My story in Job hunting

I applied for a job sent to me from my well positioned connection (nepotism) did the interviews (the UG way) & passed, paid my huge bribe since the position was big. Oral interviews came since my connection was in the interview room

All we talked about is how my father’s goats were fairing I passed with flying colors the rainbow had nothing on me. I got the position & had to report to work on Monday.Threw on my ka suit reached work & was told someone’s son had taken the job ahh! but am also a son to someone🌚🤔

The askari said “if you’re nepotism was nepoting enough you wouldn’t have done the interviews in the first place just one call & you are my boss”…. but sir why are you being emotional all this for what😒 Anyway I lost money time & hope like Man United fans

Anyway all am saying is you can have the “connection” or “a God has made a way where there’s no way” as it’s called by we Christians and still not get the job in this country😀 cos others have “bigger ways where there’s no way { jokes). Anyway let’s wait for on 17th May 2024😊 with Gabie Ntaate.

So last year your Joab Pro went on a date with a particular beautiful girl yes she was a stunning 🤩
I had prepped so well. Got some nice hair cut, I actually got a new outfit 😀😀tried so much to look my best.
We had been chatting so the energy was so high and I was so excited.

Then the day for the date came.
I went to pick her up and I prayed silently in my heart; “God abeg, I cannot take another heartbreak. Don’t let things go further if it’s not it.”
But as I prayed, I was begging God to make her the one cos everything seemed sweet😊

Just for us to get talking while on the date and one question changed it for me.

I asked, “so tell me, which church do you go to?”
She dropped her cutlery, squeezed her brows in a sexy way and looked straight into my eyes.

If it wasn’t a very serious question, I would be melting already from the look. Lol.
Then she answered; “I don’t go to Church because Church is overrated.”
That was it. I knew I had come to a dead end.
I didn’t even try to explain.
I just smiled and said “and that’s totally fine.”

We continued talking, laughing and banting but I knew.
She was another dead end.
I went home sad but at peace.
At peace that I found out very early that she was another dead end.
My doctrines are my pillars. I wouldn’t choose one who would crumble me.
So just like that I missed out on her 🥲
