Go for a free sea Safari 🦀🐙🐠 in the Indian Ocean when you go to the beach before midday.

There's low tide earlier on in the day so you can walk such a good distance into the ocean and increase your chances of seeing some sea life like star fish, crabs, and so much more.

On this beautiful day we saw crabs majorly and I was really excited. Slide 2 is star fish my friend Eva saw and captured on a different day when she went to the beach alone.

Marikiti market in Mombasa is the go to place for all types of spices and fresh foods you can think of.

It is a major tourist place and it's included in the itineraries of Mombasa City tour.

I bought spices from here and the quality is unmatched 👌🏾. They sell in kilograms and grams and they're really affordable. Carry cash or have Mpesa for payment.

Twenty8 💃🏾 I made it here so ofcos I'm gonna give a speech 😁
The past 5 birthdays I always worried about how I'm gonna achieve my big goals. I'm a dreamer and a BIG one at that! So I always looked at my goals and wondered WHEN? HOW? Especially during my birth month. It's no surprise to me that I went MIA this month especially on YouTube and Instagram. It's coz I was dealing with so much anxiety. Anxiety that I've made it to another year, I'm getting older and still haven't achieved so much of what I've set out for myself. This month I kept to myself, hardly responded to messages on time, didn't check my youtube analytics or even respond to comments. All I did was fight the anxiety. I watched lots of movies and for as long as my attention was taken away by something else I didn't feel how uncontrollably fast my heart was beating. But as much as I was able to control my anxiety while I watched movies, I wasn't able to concentrate enough to do any work. So I didn't get much done. Thank God I'd started on a journey to a healthier body last month so I had a few daily wins throughout October. I woke up every day and chose a healthy breakfast, worked out, chose a healthy meal for lunch or dinner, took enough water and those were my wins. I had so many days where I just survived a.k.a managed to get out of bed, fed myself food that was good for my body, took a walk, took a shower etc and those days count. Yes they do! I just want you to know that it's okay if you feel the pressure to achieve your goals with every birthday, but how you deal with it is what will see you out of it successfully. I've been telling myself that the HOW isn't upto me but upto GOD. So I'll tell you the same. Dream BIG, do what you can and leave the rest to GOD. He's got you, He's got me and He's got us.

WORLD BEACH in Bujumbura Burundi 🇧🇮 really exceeded our expectations. The vibe here was really vibing, they played the right music and the ambience was 💯. At one point they played a Ugandan song and I didn't know how to act 😁

We visited 3 beaches this day and this is the one I highly recommend. They have a swimming pool too 👌🏾

It doesn't matter how many times I've visited Ghaddafi Mosque 🕌, it's still worth it. Especially the view of Kampala city from the minaret. This was my first time witnessing it the view from up there at night 🌃 around 7pm (see slide 4&5) Kampala really does light up at night.

Slides 1,2 & 3 are vendors who display their goods in the taxi/bus park while slides 4 to 7 is an actual market street.

The round fish (4,5 & 6) is called umukekeh. I had the chance to taste it and it was really great.

Postcards from Kigali Rwanda 🇷🇼
It's about 12 years since I visited kigali for the first time. I always wanted to go back as an adult to document my experiences there and try to get as close as I can to the memories of my first trip out of Uganda 🇺🇬

Back then I was shocked at the fact that there wasn't any traffic jam, the streets and roads weren't congested too. I found myself asking every now and then where the people were.

One thing has remained consistent over the years, and that's the cleanliness of the roads and streets.

When you find yourself in Mombasa, have a meal at The Moorings floating restaurant in Mtwapa.

They're big on sea food. I had the bread crumb coated shrimps with fries and I'd rate the meal 8/10. I'm not a big sea food fun, I struggled to finish it.

The ambience is definitely very interesting and catchy. Nothing like I'd seen before.

Camel ride by the beach? Yes please 😊 BUT... Let me tell you I was on the camel for 30mins maybe and I got tired coz of it's big steps. Like with every step I was swung from side to side and my body felt worn out within 15mins. Anybody else experienced this? Never knew a means of transportation can tire you instead of having you relaxed 😏
