Yunia is the founder and host of "Adulting Out Loud". She and I explored the vision behind Adulting Out Loud and for the start of our conversation, we compared notes on what we thought Adulting would look like Vs. what we found in the real world.

Part of this conversation will give you the feels of two podcasts fist-pumping each other. You'll hear us talking a lot about what it's been like to grow in the podcasting industry and somewhere, I made Yunia, make a public promise - mostly to her listeners.

A new month & quarter seems like a good time to crawl out of this looong unplanned hiatus! 🫣

What better way than with a re-introduction🤝

My name is Yunia. I am the founder of Adulting Out Loud.

I started Adulting Out Loud at a time I thought I was in the thick of adulting, as a platform for young adults to express where they are at in their adulting journey and build a community of shared experiences.

4 years later I am still in the thick of it (Spoiler alert) but If I have learned anything, it's that adulting is hard(!!!) but is made easier by surrounding yourself with community.

I love creating content for this platform (even though the consistency says otherwise🙈) and having conversations about what life as a young (yes young🙂) adult really looks like.

Happy new month!! And here's to sharing more this April🥂

A new episode is live🥳🥳

To close off we are talking life, disappointments and how to navigate them. Life is often filled with disappointment. We have all found ourselves in situations where things have not gone as planned, leaving us disappointed. (Hello 2020!) Relationships that were supposed to work out but did not, businesses that you have planned for and sunk all your savings in but still fail to take off, jobs that are lost, curtailing the career growth you had hoped and planned for; the list is endless.

In today’s episode, Yunia shares some of the ways she navigates disappointment. We hope this conversation equips and encourages you to keep going until you get past whatever disappointment you may be navigating.
