Dance! There's a reason why a New Year Crossover carries so much excitement. It's because of a psychological phenomenon known as the Fresh Start Effect. It's something you can leverage to achieve life-altering results.

The Fresh Start Effect occurs when we see a new era as an opportunity to start over. It's that feeling of a clean slate on January 1st, making us eager to set goals and make changes.

Temporal landmarks like the start of a new week, month, or even your birthday can also act as fresh starts. These moments provide mental 'line in the sand' moments that encourage us to leave past failures behind and move forward.

This is the time when you're psychologically primed to start new habits, gain momentum with your goals or even make drastic changes because the mind is ready for it.

If you are going to start a new project in 2024 don't forget to start small, start slow & with little resources. You are going to make a lot of mistakes but you want to make mistakes when the stakes are low, not with your entire life savings, not with a huge infrastructure in place. You want to be in a place where you can flexibly change without losing much when you need to.

Three Life Lessons I share with any young person who cares to listen:

1. Be someone people can count on to get work done. When you say you'll do something, do it. When you cannot do something for some reason, communicate it clearly. Avoid the reputation of being an unreliable person.

2. Be a solution oriented person. Ask less questions and give more answers in work you are involved in. If you are the person who just seems to find a way in any situation, you're automatically likable because you are literally a life saver.

3. Seize all opportunities that surfaces on your way no matter how small. Opportunities never knock twice, they say. Practice the habit of recognizing & utilizing opportunities. That's how you get ahead especially when you're young & starting out.

Before the year ends, I want to say thank you to all of you who remained a fan of my page even when I deactivated this page for about two years.

I also thank those of you who looked for me and followed me on other platforms outside of Facebook, especially YouTube.

Exactly six months ago I put full attention on YouTube and saw it grow beyond my imagination and got a lot of support and love from the audience. I look forward to making a contribution in terms of contents as much as humanly possible in the coming years and beyond.

Don't make a whole 10 to 12 resolutions for a year. You'll mostly abandon them halfway through the year. Instead; make 2 to 4 major decisions of projects you'll stick with throughout the year. 1 to 2 for each half of the year. Let everything continue as usual. A year is not as long as you think. If you just accomplish one major project a year, you're much more of a winner than you think.

I guess it isn't miraculous anymore for a old woman to get pregnant post menopause. It was in the times of the biblical Sarah but not anymore. Thursday news has it that an old woman from Uganda, 70 years old conceived and gave birth. Not just to a baby but to two babies - Twins! It was possible because of the medical procedure called In Vitro fertilization. I couldn't resist the urge of doing a live reaction video on it. Watch here

They told me I needed a proper camera to start on YouTube I didn't listen. I started with my mobile phone, now we're somewhere on that platform. I believe no where is too remote, no resource is too less, nobody is too ignorant to give a piece of themselves, a piece of their message, ideas to the world. If YouTube is how you want to do it, I encourage you to go ahead. One of the things I like the most with this platform is the connection I've made with people who love the same thing. The journey is hard at the beginning but I have promised myself from day one that I'm going to make it easier for those who will follow the journey after me.
