Today, I met eminent leaders in The in the department Of Hon. Fred Byamukama on solving issues regarding The construction of the Kiziranfumbi-Kabaale roads KIKUUBE district connecting the international airport where construction was on a standstill since some residents in the area weren’t Compensated and our lasting goal was clearance on time as the construction 🚧 works continue..it’s been an ample effort and time with you my People in KIKUUBE🤝

The travel later continued.
On acool day of 27th Aug together with Kikuube District Chairperson Mr Peter Banura, Some members of the Executive and the clerk to council, paid acourtsey visit to Bugoma Jungle Hotel and Nguse Hotel, all these beautiful hotels are located in Kabwooya Upper, Kikuube District.

All these Hotels target tourists from outside the country and the nationals, they have beautiful scenaries and cool ample atmosphere,

Kikuube is endowed with natural diversity, alot of untapped tourism potentials that need to be brought in lime light to boost our revenue resource jacket both as district and country. We expect to have an urban centre in Nsozi, the Central Processing Facility, we have oil wells, game reserves, alot of historical sites and many others. So its the modest appeal for us all to promote kikuube as atourism destination model district. Its possible!

Together with the District boss and members of the executive plus corresponding technical staffs in their respective departments on 26th Aug., paid a courtsey visit to monitor different activities on-going at different places in Kyangwali and Kabwooya respectively.

We started the day at Nyawaiga primary school in Nkondo parish, Kabwooya lower at the shores of L.Albert to check on the construction work of the three class room blocks and toilets, later we moved to Nyairongo seed secondary school and made astop over at Butoole primary school to check on the VHTs who had gathered to receive their allowances. We were so passionate and commended them for being patriotic and being foot soldiers during this period of pandemic and challenged them to continue mobilising our communities to eradicate poverty.

We as well checked on Kyarushesha Dairy project, we were so impressed by the level of organization our people are. Later we winded up the day at Kyangwali Health centre iii, we were happily received by the Deputy incharge, sister Auma, we were so passionate, we found ateam of hardworking nurses and doctors, we visited the whole facility and later we had an interaction with the front liners. Alot was discussed, and brought to the attention of DEC members including an ardent need to eliviate kyangwali Health centre iii to HCiv, need for accomodation of Staff, extention of martenity ward and other in-patient wards, promotion of staff as one way of motivating them among others. We were really happy for the good work our nurses and Doctors are doing at Kyangwali HC3 amidst the challenges. We were shocked to learn that over 400 children are born from the facility every month. The fertility rate is very high in kyangwali.The district boss Mr Banura Peter and his team gave them 100k cash to buy refreshments as atoken of appreciation for the good work.
Together we can eradicate poverty in our homes🤝
