Asiimwe Jonard, born of Bunyoro Kitara kingdom, Hoima Municipality.Has been serving as the CEO for society of mining engineers Uganda since 2012. He is also a member of the petroleum society, Founder of Mining Engineering Students Association Busitema University, Bunyoro Youth Foundation, Society of Mining Engineers Uganda and Sky Source Innovations Uganda.
Prior to serving in this role, he has also coordinated a number of projects as a developer in mining and petroleum industry across Uganda. Asiimwe Jonard is well known for his visionary leadership and was instrumental between 2010 -2015 in the formation and management of schools through the entire regions of the country.
Being a result driven, performance oriented people person, Asiimwe Jonard is constantly investing time and energy in developing projects both at national and international funding to create job opportunities for the youth mass today in Uganda.
He is passionate about improving people’s income generation and further enhanced his skills in job creation when he attended a number of skilling meetings in China, Canada, South Africa, Dubai, Nairobi etc. to see him come out as an outstanding youth of our generation.
Asiimwe Jonard has already showed example, when he made many contribution as project co-ordinator and manager in acquisition of resources meant to be used in the construction of major infrastructure in the Albertian region through community sensitization in the oil and gas projects development.
Asiimwe Jonard currently is not only focusing in the oil region but has also continued to co-ordinate major infrastructure development funded by World bank and local companies in Uganda example Q3 Holdings Uganda, Larphage, Optima Mines and Minerals, Ruhore company Limited etc. Well known of creativity in his career, competing in project writing and design at the international level to win funding opportunities.
With his extensive experience in strategic positioning, engineering, marketing and innovations, was humbled with a number of Awards from different institutions and companies.
