THINK BIG ANSWER: First, elevate your aspirations (or start to think bigger).

You should want to become a successful businesswoman, not just a businesswoman.

Second, start to read books authored by successful businesswomen (like Karen S. Lynch, Rosalind Brewer, Lisa Su, or Geisha Williams), to understand what obstacles they faced (and how they overcame them) as they ascended up the ladder of success in their respective careers.

Third, plan out how you’d like to navigate your own path to success in business (start with where you want your career to end, and work your way back to the beginning), leveraging your strengths (and identifying your weaknesses, so you can proactively begin the process of improving in the identified areas).

And finally, leave the preparation behind and become the successful businesswoman you are destined to be!

Cold sales Pro-Tip:

After could cold DM and pitch someone and they respectfully decline to do business with you, don't insult them on the way out.

Sadly many of us do this.

Just because they didn't buy then, doesn't mean they won't buy later, or that they won't you send a referral.

But as soon as you talk s**t, badmouth, or insult them, they won't ever put money in your pocket. Note that. Control your emotion toward rejection and remember it is part of the business.

TIPS TO MANAGING YOUR BUSINESS INCOME.

1. Separate yourself from your business:
This cannot be over emphasized. Listen you and your business are not the same. Your business is an entity. You are also a separate entity.

Have you observed that the pronoun 'she' is used to describe a company.

As a business owner, you pay company income tax on your business and personal income tax on your own salary.

Start seeing your business as a person, you are working for her.

Separating yourself from your business involves
Separating your business funds from personal funds through having separate banks accounts.

Do not use the same bank account for your personal purposes and for your business.

Doing this will make it very difficult for you to grow. It results in over spending.

It makes planning and budgeting very difficult.

It will make you think you have big money without considering your suppliers money is included there.

You can have different business bank accounts.

2. Ensure all Business Transactions go through your business bank account.

Your business accounts reconciliation will be very easy if all your sales and purchases are traceable to your bank statement.

I know that some business may not do without cash transaction but ensure that all bank transfers flow through your bank statement.

All cash receipts should be deposited the next day except you are making purchases from your suppliers with it.

Avoid holding bulk cash. Have a limit of cash you can hold per time.

3. Set monthly target and work towards accomplishment.

See the moment you start seeing yourself as a staff of your business with target to grow and be promoted, the earlier for you.

Something about selling online you must know:

You must master how to attract customers. Attraction is seduction, it's like wooing a lady.

You don't just walk up to a lady and ask her to be your girlfriend. You first make yourself attractive and interesting enough for her to even give you attention. Then you go out on a date, and then progress into other levels of relating with her.

The mistake I see most business owners make is that they want to meet a prospect today and convert that prospect into buyers immediately.

This is not impossible though. In fact, it happens. There are people that see my offers for the first time and buy it immediately. But these people would probably be those who have an interest already. They are not newbies. They have a problem and they know first hand that you product could help them solve that problem, so they buy immediately.

But for the rest of your prospects, they will buy after you have followed them up enough and nurtured them from a cold audience to a hot audience.

They buy over time, but you must DATE them by always communicating, communicating by creating educating them.

Attract them as strangers and then nurture them into customers.

The way you use these social media platforms matters a lot. There’s a lot of pages you can follow where they dish out valuable information. But if all you do online is drag successful people, catch cruise, cause violence, with borrowed data, I’m sorry for you. It’s best you control that. Use your time for better things that can improve your life.
