Sad news

BUDUDA | UWA OFFICER DEAD | ULUKUSI RIVER.

The body of Pt Francis Wekomba ,the in-charge Ulukusi station was found floating on river Ulukusi. Residents and police mounted a search for him after he went missing for three days.

The deceased was reportedly last seen at a bar in Shibanga trading center on September 6. He was believed to have returned home after a drinking spree in the trading center.

It is still unknown whether the deceased drowned or he was murdered and his body thrown in the river.

The GISO Bumayoka sub county,Moses Shibuya said that authorities in the sub county are still tracing those who had last been seen with the deceased to get credible statements to aid investigations into the circumstances under which Wekomba died.

The results of entire Bukonde sub county have been kept aside!

There is panic and terror in Namisindwa district upon a suspected Covid 19 death.A 27-year-old man with COVID 19 like signs collapsed and died.

The deceased sought treatment in a nearby private clinic. He however collapsed and died upon arrival.

Samples have been removed from the body of the deceased for more confirmatory tests by the Covid 19 response team.

This happened in Bukhaweka Town Council in Namisindwa district.

Uganda registered her first Covid 19 death in a 34 year old female from Namisindwa last week.
