The Odessa Review The Odessa Review is the First English-language magazine covering everything from culture and events to business and current affairs

The Odessa Review is the first and only English-language print magazine in Ukraine dedicated to covering culture, events, business, politics and current affairs. Based in Odessa, the magazine aims to serve as a platform for the city’s development on the global stage and to represent Ukraine’s cultural, political and business environment to the international community. It is available in hard copy,

online and in a mobile app format. The Odessa Review is a nationwide platform for reporting on the changes taking place within contemporary Ukraine as the country goes through myriad important transformations. The magazine also promotes and supports Ukrainian cultural, social and business initiatives that reflect Western values of democracy, transparency, civil society, freedom of speech and of the arts, and the advancement of a healthy investment climate. Founded by eminent American journalist Vladislav Davidzon, who also serves as the magazine’s Editor in Chief, and the well known Ukrainian-French film maker Regina Maryanovska-Davidzon, the publication caters to the interests of Anglophone readers living and working in Ukraine or visiting the country for the purposes of tourism, business and investment. It is a stylish and highly literate monthly magazine featuring quality original journalism as well as reprints from respected Ukrainian and Western publications. Peter Dickinson, the former Chief editor of Ukraine Today serves as Editor at Large. The readership consists of the country’s cultural and academic elites, foreign expatriate community, tourists and members of the international business community, diplomats and civil servants. The magazine has received glowing reviews from a number of ambassadors to the Ukraine and distinguished editors, journalists and writers in Ukraine and abroad.

The Odessa Review is a stylish, highly literate quarterly magazine covering the myriad transformations taking place in contemporary Ukraine and beyond. Available both as a full-color print journal and online, it is the first and only English-language magazine in Ukraine dedicated to covering culture, events, business, politics and current affairs.

With its editorial headquarters in Kyiv and regional branches in Odessa, New York City, and Paris, The Odessa Review aims to serve as a platform for Ukraine’s development on the global stage. It promotes and supports Ukrainian cultural, social and business initiatives that reflect Western values of democracy, transparency, freedom of speech, and civic engagement.

Founded by the eminent American journalist Vladislav Davidzon — who also serves as the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief — and well-known Ukrainian-French filmmaker Regina Maryanovska-Davidzon, the publication caters to the interests of Anglophone readers interested in Ukraine, Eastern Europe and the broader Black Sea region.
